P.A.C.-Man ROM

Based off of Jellybean 4.2.2

for the Sprint Galaxy S3 (d2spr) ...brought to you by klin1344 with a small assist by fergie

Paranoid + AOKP + CyanogenMod = PACman

There are many great ROMs out there, with the more popular ones being AOSPA (ParanoidAndroid), CM10.1, and AOKP. Being all great ROMs, it is sometimes difficult to choose which one you want to run. Why choose when you can have all three? P.A.C.-Man ROM is combination of all three ROMs, so you don't need to keep switching or deciding between which one to flash. Get all of the features in one ROM! The sources are here... Enjoy!

Attention! Because this is a mashup of CM10.1, AOKP, and PA, there are some settings that might conflict with others because they are duplicate. Please keep that in mind before you begin to wonder if there is a bug in this ROM. Thanks and PLEASE see POST #3 for FIXES/WORKAROUNDS

WORKAROUNDS/FIXES

Q: I don't like the NavBar, how do I remove it?

A: Go HERE

Q: How do I remove the Dual-Windows in the main Settings?

A: Go to Settings>Hybrid Properties>Apps>Andrioid System>Click the reset button on the top right corner OR:
Go to Settings>Hybrid Properties>Apps>Settings>Click the reset button on the top right corner

Q: Blutooth doesn't work
A: Wait until next week when I can build from source, will try to fix then

Q: LTE doesn't work
A: I don't have LTE so I couldn't test it, if it doesn't work do the following:

Set Network to just CDMA/EVDO

Reboot

Now Set Network to LTE/CDMA/EVDO

Reboot

If that doesn't work wait until next week

Q: I don't know how to work PIE/Hybrid Options
A: Please use Google Search, there's a lot of examples of setups on the Internet

Also, the inverted apps I built in post 4 can be used in other AOSP ROMs as well, except you need to make sure your email app is

/system/app/Email2.apk

If not you can just rename it then flash the zip I posted

Currently me and powercamng4 are working out changing the Verizon tags on lock screen and notification (status bar and data signal ) and speed up MMS explained in update.

For the Verizon stuff here's what I would do

- decompile the framework-res.apk of both RootBox and CM10.1

- Take the eri.xml from CM10.1 (in /res/xml/) and copy it to the same place in the decompiled framework-res.apk of RootBox

- Next, look in the build.prop and change all instances of d2vzw to d2spr

- Also, change the build description and build fingerprint to Sprints (use the CM10.1 or the build.prop here as a reference)

- Decompile the Mms.apk from this ROM, take the mms_config.xml (in /res/xml/) and place in the decompiled Mms.apk from RootBox

- There's also two libs (don't know them off hand) that are Sprint proprietary libs, you're gonna want to place those and place them in /system/lib. There's also one lib in /system/vendor you replace too

I'm out right now but I was gonna post a vid soon on me porting then one of me porting but building from source

I'll get you those specific lib changes Monday, also you want to replace the boot.img and /system/lib/modules from this ROM and place them in yours
