YOU have decided to flash a custom ROM so YOU are responsible. Period. Should have stayed with the stock ROM I guess
.Anyway, if you didn't smash it with a hammer there are ways to revive your bricked device. A faulty flash isn't the end of the story. Just look around on XDA Developers.

If the Instructions are Inherently wrong, How come everybody else's Desire hasn't Been rendered useless? Surely if the Instructions are wrong and caused YOUR brick we should ALL have Bricks, Shouldn't we.....?

Ok, wasn't sure where to post this, but ill post here for time being.
O2 MMS settings on contract sim don't work with this rom. Nor do they work with ANY current rom that I've tried over the past 24 hours.(which is MANY).
The apn settings that o2 gave me also do NOT work.
I've somehow stumbled across these settings and they DO work on my phone.
Name o2 MMS
apn. wap.o2.co.uk
Proxy http://wap.o2.co.uk
Port 9201
Username o2wap
Password password
Server http://mmsc.mms.o2.co.uk:8002
Mmsc http://mmsc.mms.o2.co.uk:8002
Mms proxy 193.113.200.195
Mms port 8080
***********important there is no setting saying mms protocal, it should go straight to
Mcc 234
Mnc 10
Authentication type not set
Apn type not set
These settings get me full size pics on mms on any of neos current roms including this one. Every other apn setting I've tried fails to send any mms at all.

I had flashed this rom for several hours. Everything looks good. BUT, I had a question, "quick system info" shows that there are 40MB system cache but only 36"K"B is available. I hadn't never seen this situation before. Anyone has an idea?

i guess you can figure it out by reading descriptions, no?
in a glance:
NeoPhYTe 1.8 = based on FroYo 2.06 + Sense
NexTSense 5.3 = based on FroYo 2.09 (OTA update) + Sense
WhiteXperience 2.0 = based on CyanogenMod 6.0 RC2 (vanilla) = NO Sense
people report 2.06 version is faster than 2.09. maybe you could check yourself.
vanilla version should be the fastest, though, as no Sense apps are loaded.
