I too wish to know, on a stock (last hboot and S-ON) desire s updated to official ICS RUU...

Some questions:
- on Root, which "hboot" will be flashed when the relative check is marked ?
- on UnRoot, the original hboot (saved to sd on root process) will be restored ?

Thanks

User selected HBOOT will be flashed after rooting. You will be prompted and No HBOOT will not be restored after UnRoot. It's backed up only in case you wish to restore yourself at a later time.
