It is if you use USB OTG disk drive / OTG SDCARD READER or similar things.
just like you would attach USB stick to your pc, you'd do with your phone. Otherwise no. It is not possible.
well it is possible, its just extremely long and a painstaking challenge to do. (some one just opened a thread about hardwiring a micro sd card into the moto g's main pcb
the simpler way though is the otg disk drive AND either foldermount apk or directory bind apk
