Just a thought maybe you should trust these before you even release it.

There is no reason not to trust it, it's all code that's been approved. Think of it like you would a CM nightly build.
Admittedly I can't test them anymore, though.

My Sensation is long gone so although I can build it, I have no way of testing if it's any good or not.

Don't see why not, but I suspect the incremental backups this is capable of won't work on v5, but I've not checked.
