Do any of these PRLs let you have Sprint 1x & EVDO normally, but let you roam on Verizon 1x & EVDO?

I currently have 60678 on my Hero (Sprint) and wondering is 60679 the latest or should I stick with 60678? I am noticing some slow data speeds lately and was told to maybe update my PRL and was pointed tho this thread.

Awesome thread by the way. :D
60679 shut down towers in some places. like this prl did

http://www.roamingzone.com/prl/#Sprint
or try the 01120.prl it should give you more home area it for business lines that use more data over more area.
some times older prl's are better. or a modified one.

i just made my first prl... sort off lol. What i did was i took the 01120 corporate prl and i gave all the towers the same priority in theory this should stay connected to the closest available sprint tower and not jump so i wouldn't recommend it for traveling but it would be good for tethering and gameing. so tell me what yall think about it thx.

the prl is 01130 and ill send it to oostah later so he can put it with the others

I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANYTHING THAT MAY HAPPEN TO YOUR PHONE!!!!

all this started from this tread

    http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=696073

I have prl's from different carriers. im going to keep the newest and old one's some times older prl's work better in some places.
thanks to Bierce22 for his hard work with this.

TO change prl you need a sense rom 2.1

Here is a Alltel rom that I have run thought the kitchen it works for the ##775#.

    http://dev-host.org/s61ju0a2ae0w/Alltel-rooted-redone.zip

or you can use kyouko How to change your PRL while using CM7

    here

    http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1162091

Copy the PRL file to the root of your microSD card
Dial ##775# on the handset and enter the MSL code when prompted for password
    Tap on Update PRL
If it read your microSD card correctly your PRL file should be listed in the bottom half of the screen to select
Select your PRL and click OK
Press the MENU button and tap on Commit Modifications (which will reboot the phone)

for prl's follow the link below

    I will be adding more.

be care full of roaming on sprint

Voice/Data Usage Limitation: Sprint reserves the right, without notice, to limit throughput speeds, and to deny, terminate, modify, disconnect or suspend service if off-network usage in a month exceeds: (1) voice: 800 min. or a majority of minutes; or (2) data: 300 megabytes or a majority of kilobytes. Prohibited network use rules apply. See in-store materials or sprint.com/termsandconditions for specific prohibited uses

with the sid/mid, do you just add it manually to the list? What do you put in the other columns like geo, priority, etc.

Also, for anyone running an Evo who was brought here from that thread, the procedure is essentially the same. Here's a brief overview of what I did:

    0. NANDROID!
    1. Download a few PRLs from the first page of this thread.
    2. Flash any current Sense ROM.
    3. Acquire a Sense EPST.apk from 2.1 (hint: see attachment).
    4. Use ASTRO EStrongs or other root explorer type app to delete current EPST.apk and replace with copy from 2.1.
    5. Reboot phone.
    6. Dial ##775# and enter the password (MSL).
    7. Choose your PRL and hit menu to bring up the Commit option.
    8. Reboot, use the Sense ROM or restore your Nandroid.
    9. Profit.

If you still can't get data, try a new PRL or toggle data a couple times. Make sure your network isn't set to 'home only' and that you allow roaming.

    Hope it helps!
