Hello everithing work perfectly but i'm experiencing huge battery drain 56% on 1h25. Anybody has the same problem. Otherwise everything is fast and smoth for a daily use...

Asylum essentially is a lite ROM..
ie- all the non necessary stuff removed.. hence its lighter..

PS - it aint only a lite ROM.. its got the awesomeness cooked into it.. :)

That's the principle idea of Asylum philosophy - you get a bare bones yet fully functional and very fast Rom, AND you get a missing apps zip, so everyone can tailor the Rom according to their needs. Why burden everyone with tons of stuff they need to remove because there's a small number of users who want the whole shebang?

There's lots of apps I never use and I am grateful for being spared uninstalling them each time I flash the new version.

Enable Nexus style on-screen soft-keys
Add this at the end of /system/build.prop: qemu.hw.mainkeys=0

DPI modes
Change ro.sf.lcd_density=320 in /system/build.prop to desired value.
Nexus 7 mode: ro.sf.lcd_density=213
Tablet mode: ro.sf.lcd_density=160
Legacy phone mode: ro.sf.lcd_density=240
Default phone mode: ro.sf.lcd_density=320

If you find font to be to small or big, go to 'System Settings -> System -> Font Size' and change to desired size.

If Google Now isn't working for you or you have system locate not set to US then use this fix: Google Now

Delaying memory leak as much as possible?
1) Disable media scanner using Rescan Media ROOT remember to "Set Preferences -> Check Disable scanner on quit." then press the back button ONLY ONCE and wait aprox. 5 sec. Needs to be done after each reboot.
2) System Settings -> Developer options -> Background Process Limit -> Desired Value, 1-4. Needs to be done after each reboot.

240 is legacy phone mode and 320 is default phone mode! I've edited that post to be clearer.

I use nexus 7 mode myself but sometime switch to tablet mode & changing font settings to large. To only find myself switching back to nexus 7 mode.

on density 213 is there any way to disable screen rotation on the lock screen, i have my rotation turned off but lock screen still rotates

Hi... downloaded and installed the new ROM.... 15th one. I found the play music is not there. And now the galary works fine.... also in Google apps why not we integrate tube and maps.....
But you have done a nice job man......

is there a reason this rom is so slow, I mean cm9 is way faster, My note never lagged and it does on this rom. Just wondering, otherwise great progress.

    What is project LARD ?
    Project LARD is a implementation of newer, pure JellyBean samsung drivers for the following

    - Mali GPU
    - EGL drivers
    - GLES drivers

    They are simply kanged from the Note2 system dump with no other changes. Its not quite Butter, its LARD.

    Can be used on official nightlies aswell and probably other cm10 based rom
    ​

    im building paranoid android straight from source, NO PORT, for 3 devices atm. Note included.

    Oh btw im gonna build a last unofficial cm10 build, a clean one with the new n7000 device tree that just got merged to main streamline. A thank you all and good bye build.
