Anyone had any problems with the media scanner always running? It's using up all of my battery.
I've done all of the fixes on this page: http://geeknizer.com/fix-android-media-server-scanner-sdcard-cpu-battery-drain/ but none of them seem to work. All I know is that the media scanner seems to be using 25% of my CPU time and is also permanently using 50 mb of RAM. Has anyone fixed this on the G Pro?
Sometimes, when I charge with the charger supplied with the phone, the battery level continues to drop because of the media scanner.
I've got an E988 Taiwan running rooted stock 4.1.2.
