I just downloaded a video, it works. If you're on MM make sure you give YouTube permission to your storage.

That might've been the reason why YouTube closes whenever I pressed download. I'll try it that, thanks

This fixed it for me; I hadn't granted the permission before because OGYouTube never asked me for it.

Maybe delete the folder.. Did you freeze and or uninstall YouTube using titanium backup? I froze and ununstalled YouTube then boot to recovery, wiped the two cache, reinstalled after reboot and it worked. Maybe you can just freeze it without the uninstall.. I checked the playstore to make sure it was disabled too

The 1st one is xposed OG YouTube, the second one is root/no-root version... I'm using OG YouTube from 0.8, always xposed version and still works great.
