Thumbs up Stock rooted Gingerbread for HTC Inspire
Hey Samuel. Thanks for doing this. I got my Inspire about a weeks ago, rooted it the day I got it, and have been lurking these forums since. Saw this opportunity to ask a n00b question, and registered. So, I'm looking for a stock, rooted Gingerbread ROM. It was suggested I don't return my phone to stock, update, and then re-root. Not sure why, but I'll listen. Thanks in advance, and thanks for doing this.

hey samuel2706. ive seen this question asked all over xda but i havent found a solid answer. im really interested in making a rom of my own (not using kitchens; im talking about real developing). so heres the question: do you know where i should start? (something that will allow a person like me, with no knowledge of developing whatsoever, to start rolling out roms)

A good place to start is Android AppInventor: http://appinventor.googlelabs.com/about/

Hello, I have a Nexus 2.3.4 and I get the root permissions without unlocking the bootloader to not lose the warranty, could you help me?? We advance that I have already tried this guide http://www.nexus-lab.com/2011/05/04/...erbread-grj22/ but I block the first step when I get back to version 2.3.3.
I hope you're able to help me.

Complete different CM Source if you really want to know, i suggest grepping some files and finding out what controls what and what to change!

if it's not been done yet there is a reason why

As far as i know, you can't without unlocking the bootloader mate, i had a nexus one, you have to unlock bootloader, i think there was a thread on there when i left that helped you get locked bootloaders again but from my experience you need it off
