ATT branded flash no brand
Can I use this to flash the no brand firmware to my att branded lgp925??

If I haven't backup the factory default rom before, is that mean I can't restore to the factory default rom?
Att flashed kz with lg update
I flashed the KZ file with lg update software as explained in the XDA thread but I could not get the process to work right. My phone kept disconnecting at 28% and it would not turn on no matter what I did. It would only make a short vibrate as if it was turning on, and the computer would notice it but only for a short time. And never once did a light on the screen, or LG logo, or anything at all ever appear.
I figured I had really screwed it up, but when I plugged it into the wall it booted up perfectly. All my data was in tact and the rom i had flashed through cwm was still there, not the kdz file that I flashed with the lg software.. I noticed that my sim card did not come up as being in the phone at all. I looked in system setting status and noticed that all info related to my imei said unknown. I opened up the mfg app (277634#*# from the phone app).. Under "version info" then "factory version" my phone now says xmm6260.. It always used to say p925..etc... Even after flashing the zip to debrand from at&t this never changed from p925 even when every other aspect of my phone has.. I was hoping maybe once I put in an activated sim card everything would be fine and my phone would be unlocked which is why i flashed through lg software.. But seeing as how other people are having this similar issue and their phones not seeing the sim card, well im looking for some advice.. Should I try and re flash kdz file through lg software again? if i do, im going to do it on my XP computer this time, not Windows 7..
Just wanted to add that I did try wiping data and cache from cm and no dice.. Root and CMW work fine but no matter what I do, if my phone is turned off, i cannot boot up or boot to cwm or boot at all unless i plug the phone into a wall carger and then once its on it stays on and i can unlug.. SORRY ABOUT THE LONG POST, THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR ANY HELP..

If some people have problem with flashing try this.
Power OFF your phone.
Choose in "UpTestEX_mod2_marwin.exe":
-3GQCT and phone mode to "DIAG"
Choose correct kdz file and press "Normal web update start"
Then click "Upgrade start"
Next choose your language and click OK.
Update start and ask you to connect your phone.
Plug in phone in download mode (power on with volume up button)
Power OFF your phone.
Choose in "UpTestEX_mod2_marwin.exe":
-3GQCT and phone mode to "DIAG"
Choose correct kdz file and press "Normal web update start"
Then click "Upgrade start"
Next choose your language and click OK.
Update start and ask you to connect your phone.
Plug in phone in download mode (power on with volume up button)

FYI OP
when booting into emergency mode I had major issues because it kept on blue screening my machine when i had the battery in and starting it in emergency mode and then plugging in cable or trying to start it into emergency mode with battery in
the easiest way to do this i found was to
Remove battery but keep sim card in (i removed sd card but dont know if it makes a difference wasnt risking my files)
hold volume button down
plug in usb cable from computer and it works first time.
you can add the battery once you get all the drivers installed and the LG software to recognize that the phone is plugged in

Thanx.I did hard reset and problem has gone. But i have another problem - my Phone see the sattelites but can't connect to them, or if connect, but not long time...Phone lose it. Reflashing can't help.
India...! I have bought the phone from canada (i think its P925g) and unlocked but doesnt Identify my network..

How to prevent LG Mobile Support Tool update - thanks to unknown_world
If You have LG Mobile Support Tool(LG Mobile Update program) go to 2nd point.
1.
a)Install "B2CAppSetup.exe" and run LGMobile update.
b)Install drivers.
2.
a)Connect your phone to PC with USB "debug" mode enabled and wait for drivers to install.
(menu/settings/application/development/USB debugging )
b)Install msxml.msi (Right click on file and select Install)
c)Turn "windows enabler.exe" and switch to the "ON" position( left click on icon)
3.
Start "UpTestEX_mod2_marwin.exe", select your KDZ file.
Set emeregency, 3gQCT as pictured and press "NORMALL WEB UPGRADE TEST"
The program start official LG Flasher.
You do this on your own risk!

I can give you a temporary solution if it is very urgent
open c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts (as a administrator user) using notepad
add the following line at the end of the file
183.83.187.5 csmg.lgmobile.com
Save it and run you firmware update application
Remember to remove the line after firmware update
NOTE: Ignore the message saying "Please, check your internet line and excute program again."
What i am doing is forcing LG Update application to downgrade from 1.5.4.9 to 1.5.4.8 as 1.5.4.9 breaks KDZ Method
