Just as info for 160 DPI users.

I like to switch themes often. I've started getting "This theme not compiled properly". I found by going back to 213, the themes will install and then you can switch back to 160.

I use ROM Toolbox Lite and that makes this a very simple operation.

Guys i must be thick as pig ****, how do i activate tablet mode as i cant seem to see it in the settings, do i change prop build with romtool box, im on 2.1

Sorry guys need to try and save face, i found out what i was doing wrong.............not rebooting, DOH!!

To access the 3 Mode Selection screen(Tablet Mode), go to ROM Control, then General, then UI Moda and select Tablet UI.

Update: I am finishing up Dirty AOKP v2.2 right now. Repo sync at 10:00 am, and built a couple minutes later. It has 4 new cherry picks in it:

  • RC - Allow User select Tablet Mode {WIP} (1/2) [UPDATED 01-15 8:28 AM!]
  • FW - Allow User select Tablet Mode {WIP} (2/2) [UPDATED 01-15 8:32 AM!]
  • Adjust hint colors - LatinIME

    -adds 2 option to ROM Control/Lockscreen: Use wigdet carousel(working) &
    Minimize lockscreen challenge(not working, made for phones, don't use)

Love the ROM but have a question umm I'm trying to play some videos that require flash and when I click on it, it says I need Adobe flash, so I click on that and it says flash is not supported on my device, what can I do to get it to work?

Are you trying with Chrome or the ASOP browser......Adobe will not work with Chrome.

How do i change the dpi to 160 or 240 etc ? I have never changed the dpi ever so just a quick pointer on where the settings maybe could help. Thanks in advance.

Go to root directory in a file explorer, then go to /system. Open build.prop with a text editor. Edit this line:

# set default lcd density to TVDPI
ro.sf.lcd_density=213

Change the 213 to the dpi you want(never heard of raising it though). The reboot and you will see the changes.

It is about half way down in the file, the build.prop isnt that big though. Let me know how it goes.

Dirty AOKP v2.2 has finished uploading.

I will also upload screenshots of all the new settings you will have access to in v2.2, a lot of additions!

I havent tried Flash on Dolphin so I'm not sure. I Know the AOSP Browser works with Flash on v2.1 and v2.2(tested) and well all the builds. :)

That is an apk yes, but not an app with a gui. There is no DSP manager in Dirty AOKP since I updated KingBeaTz, it is coming back though...soon.

Thanks! No problems yet, just compiled a build with the addition of NavBarColor, The commit was updated an hour ago. It should work now, so I'm testing it.

    Installation Steps
    1. Backup current ROM via custom recovery
    2. Factory Reset, Wipe Cache, and Wipe Dalvik
    3. Flash Dirty AOKP v4.3.zip
    4. Choose the Aroma options you want.
    5. After selecting Additional Apps the ROM will be flashed
    6. Reboot when finished
    7. Enjoy!

    What features do you want to see added to Dirty AOKP? Apps, Mods, Kernels, anything, I will take every suggestion into consideration. :)

    Features wanted by users

    Dual-panel view - [ADDED]

    Note: For every release the base will be compiled same day.


    Tips

    • For status bar transparency to work you have to have a default launcher selected. This is what I experinced using Nova and the Stock Launcher.

    • Tablet UI Mode: If you want the Nav Bar/Status Bar to have vertically centered notification icons DO NOT adjust the Height of the Nav Bar.
    • When you enter Tablet UI(and select it) you should have not changed the Nav Bar Height. That is the only way it will look and stay vertically centered.
    • You may be able to changed it in Phablet UI, put it back to 48 dpi, then select Tablet UI, and reboot to enter Tablet UI. This may work I have not tried it yet.

    v5.1 will be amazing, PUB will be back, 4.2.2 Gapps added, kernel updates, and many other updates Ive yet to look into. :)

    I gotta work on getting KingBeatZ working correctly also. May end up going with v3.0.3, the last version with the BeatZ DSP manager.

    Lol I know I said like 2 days in a row that it was coming "today". I feel like both dirty ROMs need updated so I will TRY to do Dirty AOKP today(grouper, possibly tilapia too). Thank you all for your patience.
