I appreciate the fact that you are already using the latest build available.
Have you tried out any of the new kernels that have been developed in the last few days?

Today I compiled a kernel for Desire with some patch and new toolchain, think will be included in the v0.2

If you want you can uninstall applications
Menu-->Setting-->Application-->menage application
Select what you don't want and remove it

It is a great benefit here that apps can be removed and are not built-in - like the pre-cooked apps in winmo.
