Nightly builds will also use the 3.0 kernel when they begin... No ETA on that yet.

Official nightlies will start soon, but the repo changes to build with the 3.0 kernel have not been merged yet.

Not sure I got clarity on this: is it using the NS4G modem and patch or expecting one of the recent official standard epic modems?

Maybe the standard modem, not a ns4g modem because its unofficial porting

I Recommend FC09 for Epic with these builds.

One nice feature (although still under review and not yet merged):
Go to Settings -> Performance, and check the option for High end graphics effects. It will give you the cool dimming effect when you pull down the notification screen. It may or may not require a reboot to take effect, I forget.

EDIT: The screen already dims, but this will make the notification pulldown semi-transparent. And yes, requires a reboot to take effect.

Sweet.. Going to give it a try tomorrow.
FYI.. I am using an Epic 4G flashed to MetroPCS
I will report as many issues as I possibly can for flashed users (if any at all)

Thanks for this Epic CM Team

Gb>Ics>Jb... this phone has been amazing
