Yeah, as the thread title suggests, updated to Avatar's latest release and lost root. Anyone else suffer this? Did you fix it? Tell me how! Phone's stuck with this rom for now and runs HOT when using any app or even just charging, big disappointment. Gotta figure how to get rid when not rooted.

Do u have a super user app installed??? Try reinstalling the app again..!

Try to flash SuperSU from recovery.. u get superSU here
Thanks for the reply, but it turns out that root was somehow 'broken', but not lost entirely, by the 4.4 update.
After sacrificing a goat (joke), I managed to boot into CWM and flash Arion, I had to wipe/factory reset for it to work though (a month of Clash of Clans gone!). Attempting to re-install 4.4 gave a status 7 error from CWM and i had to wipe/factory reset again and drop back to Arion.
Gone over to CM10.1 now, seems the safest option!
