Facebook for Android 1.6 is up in the market...

...and frankly I'm not understanding what the hub-bub was about with the "closed beta" and "zomg it's gonna be significantly better"

Looks the exact same, same functionality, except that you can upload video's and go to pages...

Lame as usual.

Hah and now you can't view what people post on a wall, only that pages posts.
(Example: you can't see what people post on the NHL fan page, only what the NHL posts on its wall)

Facebook has some terrible developers.

The social networking apps on android suck as compared to iPhone i.e twitter, Facebook, etc. They're just half assed ports smh.

Yeah but there was this "closed beta" and promise of "great improvements" to the app....and then the update is....the usual nothing.

Hell, push notifications have never even worked for me.

The update sucks. I just reverted back to my old one. You lose the ability to search everyone, you can only search the friends you have and the friend requests you've been sent. Super lame.

Steve Jobs has to be paying the app devs @Facebook off cuz the iPhone app is & has always been 1000x better than our Android app SMDH!!!!

I reverted as well.
I want to be able to see people's posts on page's walls.

umm yeah you can.. just type in the name.. it changes to everyone automatically.

agreed.
it got updated too, it still looks for or launches the web or native app when trying to message still miles ahead of the "official" app..
