the Thunderbolt got an ICS leak. not sure when Verizon is suppose to push the update out.

would using the Thunderbolt base be better to port from, since it's a DHD variant? only difference is the LTE radio and front-facing camera.

maybe, i do have to say it is funny as hell the specs for the tbolt almost read identical to the DHD/Inspire and it's getting official ICS and we don't, i would classify this as an !!EPIC FAIL!! by HTC.

my problem is, that I can't flash the new version. I have made a full wipe, factory reset, format system and cache. I flashed v.2.1 and it worked. same procedure with v.3 and the flash stopped in "writing data". did I do something wrong?

Did you select to full wipe from aroma? I ask you because I didn't the first time and it got stuck at writing data. Retry and select full wipe from aroma even if you already did it from recovery that solved the problem for me.
I hope you do little "watermarks" in your roms, so you can see if HTC just took your rom and re-badged it. lol
the only reason i can come up with is that the DHD/Inspire doesn't have a front-facing camera. i believe all the other phones that got ICS have a front-facing (correct me if i'm wrong). otherwise, nearly exact same specs.

Don't know if this is a bug. In google play store it says that i have HTC incredible S, and when i install apps they doeasn't show on my phone but on google play store it says that they are installed. Google play store on computer. Installing from phone works normally.

Then it must be a corrupted file try redownloading, install it again and don't change anything from aroma.

Let aroma do full wipe.
When done, don't let aroma reboot. Reboot from recovery.

is it possible to disable or delete the aroma installer?
dont use the aroma option to reboot say no then use recovery to reboot

I think this point should be emphasized, don't use the OC Deamon and the lag problem will not occur.

I dont know how the Devs would really get their minds in to it but I for one would rather have OC Daemon than SetCPU to deal with my values.
Ive never experienced getting lag and not sticking values. Maybe it could be an option for next release to install OC Daemon or not...
Btw, uninstalling Controller does not and wont help for those who have lag. Correct me if im wrong, but that controler only makes things easier to change values from what we used to do before. (Edit values at system oc daemon folder)

Actually, I found the default voltages high too. The default voltages are HTC stock I think. Adjusted them with the OC Deamon and that is when I started to suffer the occasional random lag.
Could be my settings but you decide:
Previous ROM ARHD 6.3.3 - 1150 MHz at 1075 vdd (this is actually default setting for that ROM)
With Blackout ICS I tried 1024 MHz at 1100 vdd, than at 1125 vdd and finally 1150 vdd.
With the new install, I just left the deamon alone at its default settings, did not use Proximity Recalibrator and all is good.
Battery life is good even on the default voltages.
