As much as I'm tempted to flash this right now, I have a feeling it'll totally mess up my Linux setup due to the recovery.img... so I'll try to be patient. 
At the very least, I'm gonna try ripping the apk's associated with the Acer Ring. It might require some of Acer's framework, but I guess there's only one true way to find out.

yes i think so. if you prefere to remain stock flash original version with stock recovery

Like 3.2.1, Acer have not included Acer Ring for A500/A100.
Seems like Acer added it only on "new" tablets. (A200/A510/A700)
Great i can't stand that ring. I prefer the stock look & feel on tablets.
well ... i would have liked it ... :'(
But when new device will be released, we might be able to extract the APK and the framework that make it available on A500 ...
Really? I think its ugly and doesn't fit with ice cream/honeycomb. But hey to each his or her own!
After flashing that ROM can I flash back to HC 3.0.1 using EUU via apx mode? If I can, botloader will back previous version or leaves updated? Sorry for bad english.
As far as I know the stock one is the only one that works.. If you flash it you lose recovery no way back to custom roms yet.

To anyone that has flashed it is the camera working?
is it fully functioning? i mean, does camera, audio, headphones, hdmi, etc all function like a stock honeycomb rom?
and i'm assuming this is 100% stock considering the bootloader talk, so no root?

THIS LEAKED ROM IS FOR DEVELOPMENT
- Give the developers time to take this leaked ROM and make a stable release.
- Currently there is no version that keeps full Root and Recovery. A500 tablets will bootloop flashing the CWM version.
- A501 users can flash the CWM version but there is no 3G.
- A500 users can flash the stock ROM, but there is no Root and no way to install Recovery. Going back to 3.2.1 is not verified.
PATIENCE PLEASE, while this is being worked on.
I am willing to bet within a week or so we will start seeing ICS Roms that can be flashed with either Acer Recovery, CWM or RA.

The bootloader have been updated, so itsmagic may not work anymore.

And all the "oh, I lost root"... this is obvious enough.
And the "I installed the full unrooted package, with booloader blob", why don't I have CWM recovery? "Crank up your gol 'darn adb, and start putting out something useful.

Sorry i didn't spot this thread earlier. Been to busy the last couple of weeks.
To get this rom running on the a500 you can try this boot image (devs only please and make sure you don't install the new recovery/bootloader, just remove them from the updater-script).
Rom running fine here (just need to check the superuser stuff, but i can live without for some time). - Give the developers time to take this leaked ROM and make a stable release.
