There is an ant under my screen. I am not sure how it got there and I wasn't too happy when it stopped moving... I think it's dead. :(

Any advice on getting it out...
I already tried a vacuum cleaner, that didn't work.

I would open the device but I am not sure if there is adhesive between the lcd and glass panel.

Lmfao... I'm sorry.. This just made me laugh... I'm sorry about the ant though.. I believe you will have to take it apart if you can't shake it out. You're going to have to google a repair video for the 10.1. Lmk how it works out for you.

Nothing productive to add just.... PMSL! ;-)
How the f&$k did it get in there? The only real place I can see on mine is the headphone socket.

LOL @ Ant buster...

Yeah I am guessing I will have to open it. The thing is I don't know if there is adhesive between the lcd and the glass. None of the disassemble videos I've seen removed the lcd panel. I guess I will have to do it on my own...
wish me good luck.
STUPID ANT.
I am guessing not even the ant buster could save me now.

Not really a guide, but maybe this will give you an idea:

Thanks for being the only one that offered any help.
I guess the screen is glued to the LCD with adhesive...
sigh... I really don't want to go through all of that just to remove an ant.

Here are the pics :(

If you have any dead pixels, or any other hardware issues send it in for that and likely Samsung will remove the bug. I've used this app to check for dead pixels on my screen and have found a couple. Wasn't worth sending it in for a repair but if I had a bug in my screen I would. Good luck.

I believe that this bug is fixed in the ICS upgrade.
