So far it refuses to relinquish dvfs control.
It's a minor detail since it's not worse than stock.
Just means I'll need to invest more time into digging through this than I had hoped for.
With no N4 in sight, I'll probably have that time though.
Just going back to work tomorrow gets in the way :)

Finally! I loved your kernels for the G2x, I was pretty bummed when I found out you didn't make a Twiz JB kernel. Gonna flash this as soon as my rom is done, Cheers!

I can't build for TW JB leaks, when they released a rom and with that the source, i could build for it.

For everyone: I Worked on those builds TODAY, there is no "i ran this for X days" buffer on these builds.
I have verified WIFI works, BT Works, GPS works (even got 3meters indoors, could be a first for indoors)
It wakes up when i need it to.
All in all looks pretty good, but you will find stuff i can't find in an hour.

I can't take back DVFS control probably since libpower plays a larger role in JB, full on guess, the same configuration that i could boot in ICS will not bring up the UI in JB, with dvfs front and center of the problem.
I didn't get to work on it over the weekend and even started late on it today, so I'll have to dissect the issue later.
Under this light at night i can't even detect a difference on the screen colors, if that does not become obvious during the day i need to dig through that too.

Let me know what you find, so we can address it.

Nothing before Alpha4 actually uses 1728MHz
With all the reused code, the max limit didn't follow, it remained at 1512.
Alpha4 has the proper 1728MHz max freq limit
it still gets changed to 1026 on the min side but max of 1728mhz now gets used properly

my phone is very very picky on kernels, and this is the only non-stock kernel that works. i dont know why. i was hoping you were working on a stock jb kernel. thanks so much.

You middle of the night rebooters while the phone is plugged in:
Don't do it, reboot only unplugged, this minor nuisance followed me to JB it seems.

Not sure what you meant to link there kimbo, does it really relate to his request?
I see you edited the link.
and can you please remove it once he has it?
I like to see the amount of downloads each build gets, it helps me weigh how severe an issue is
if there are 50 downloads and 10 reports of an issue it's very major ( 20% ), and if there are 3000 downloads and 20 reports of the same issue it's not very big at all ( 0.67% ).

Thanks for providing him the link though, since SGS3 kernels do not hit 3000 downloads, the amount does make a difference to me :)

Flash the kernel designated for your rom, either CM9 or STOCK.

CM10....As CMX on the site (ignore it's under ics, cmx == cm10)
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Featuring:
    • Offering lowered voltages
    • Build optimizations
    • Performance through research
    • Removed wasteful debugging
    • Scheduler, Governor tweaks
    • Improved Colors (Fixed as of right now)
    • 480MHz GPU
    • Up to 1836MHz or 1728 (as noted in filename)
    • Bull**** Free (Not pushing buzzwords to drop them later like others)

I have a kernel for 4.2.2 laying around here somewhere.

So will we see a Trinity kernel for JB/cm10?

    Will you? yes
    When? don't know yet.
    Let CM10 mature.

Morfic any chance we can get a CM10.1 kernel? Or do you no longer own this device?

I was going to let GideonX get comfy on VZW build and then help him with tmo, but since I am on Carbon ROM (liquid fork after a split of the team, majority of devs are on Carbon) right now, I'll be building something off of cm source.
    I'm on sgs3 since I sold my N4 to get a note2.
Even when I run note 2, I'll be building for sgs3.
Based on how gideonx likes building for tmo I'll likely focus on tw or build both.

Just pulled source last night and did a test build. So it'll be a while before the cm kernel goes live.
