Ah yes, busybox has the power to mess up anything. So much in fact, that I have completely refrained from installing busybox on my devices these days.
If an app requires busybox, it should come with its own copy, that does not interfere with the rest of the system.
Busybox (if symlinked) is actually a fairly common reason for all sorts of problems with root apps ...
You freaking tell me. I update my busybox via stericson updater and now one app doesn't work anymore (CM file manager).
Ironically the restore function (to restore older version) is a pro function of that app, meaning I'll have to unfsck it myself. Too tired of logcat'ing my way through problems all the time. -_-
