I'm on a GE ROM with only a few Gapps installed.
It wasn't actually tickable (ie disabled) but it was ticked by default for me.
Same for me on stock (not tickable, but ticked by default)

Interesting. I'll do a little digging but I wouldn't be surprised if this is simply not possible to fix, due to multiple GL layers.
Hi, are there any plans to add automatic screen brightness controls to this app so that the brightness changes with the current light levels?
Thanks for such a great app.
Thanks rcook55 and Chainfire for that clarification. I was a little uncertain about that! Awesome apps, Chainfire!Exactly. Because the update will likely fail. Usually it will just it failed and that's that, but sometimes this (soft)bricks a phone and you need to re-flash, which is very inconvenient.
Hey Chainfire, Would be great if you add a widget to stop this awesome mode when we want to
Also an option to hide app notification
and why not a Fast setting Toggle to unable it
thank you for this
Hey, is it possible that screenshoots arent affected by the color settings?
Anyone have this working on toro? I've tried it on cm11 and a rom closer to aosp with no luck. No screen color changes, just graphical glitches when scrolling. Thanks!
Hi, I had a quick question. Is the "0" value given in the Calibration menu representative of the bottom level of the sensor? For my taste I would like it to have a much lower ambient light level trigger sleep mode, but I have the sleep mode value set to 0 already.
I'm having trouble getting CF.Lumen to work ever since I updated to ARHD 70.0 recently. I keep getting the 'install driver' popup in the app. I've clicked on Normal and even Recovery. In both cases, I have to wait a minute and then restart the phone manually. This used to be the case even before I moved to ARHD 70.0, but now it doesn't even work after the manual restart.
Any suggestions about how I can get about installing the driver? I love the app, and it's just painful to use the phone at night now without it.
Yeah, it's the bottom level of the sensor. How little light that is varies greatly per device - for some it does indeed feel much too high.
Ah well, yeah it's definitely high on the N5. Thanks! One more question, sorry. The "Wake from sleep" option says that it forces sundown mode in medium light (I assume under a value of 250 or whatever you have the "Bright" calibration setting at) but it actually seems to be forcing daytime mode instead.
Basically I'd like to be able to ignore the time of day entirely, and just apply color filters and brightness based on the sensor value. I can use "Sleep in the dark" to do that for low brightness, and "bright light" for high brightness, so now I'd like to make Sundown mode no filter and automatic brightness for values in the middle. Setting sleep hours as all day and checking the "wake from sleep" option seems like it should work that way, but even with sensor values of 40 or so it's still forcing Daytime mode.
Thanks. I just went back to an older version (70 -> 62.0) of the ROM and it started working again. Not sure what the issue is here, try a different ROM, I would say...
