i don't know for sure, but they're both called Optimus Black and i think yes

what do you mean by "couldn't load"?

On my opinion, LG should have to move forward to develop an ICS firmware/ software version for their products which is available to run Android 4.0

I wonder does LG know how ... they are (@_@)

Flashed with KDZ Updater.exe and it doesn't work. The screen shows the logo like down pictures and keep flashing without anything happen. I guess it's bootloop :confused:

Maybe it's because of coming from CM7. Happened before with V10. I would try it also, but i'm at work. Later, hopefully.

Sorry if this sounds stupid..but:
Inside KDZ file is a .wdb and a .dll..
The error could be because the dll from .kdz is conflicting with the model reported by the phone...(??)
:D Any way to replace the original dll with p970's one?

I think R&D test tool has some kind of override for .dll by choosing one. There's a p970.dll and lg.dll in UPK thread.

    - Flash korean V20L with KDZ updater (V20L_00.kdz).
    -Only flash CP.fls of V20a with smartflash.
    -Boot, select auto network

    Hmm, my flashable zip went through. But it boot looped. Even the bootanimation I replaced (Google) showed and I'm stuck there.. I replaced some files in the system folder, I was hoping it will boot to see the changes.

    EDIT: 2nd zip booted. :) using V20L boot.img (I used the Nightly#20 zip as base). ADW was inserted, Gingerbread keyboard. SD still won't mount, even formatting it in the phone (error). I replaced lge-ril.so as well.

    make sure in the system folder of the zip you have these (and only these): I only used winrar, don't extract, just drag and drop, then (store).

    Hmm, it was V20L on top of CM7. How can that be, all apps for both are working. It's like having V20L stock with CM goodies. Loh, will continue tomorrow.

    Working. 2.3.4 official :D
    rooted with superoneclick 2.2 zergRush.
    Cmw installed.
    The only big problem now is sdcard.

    Edit the build.prop as well. So once booted it's already in english.
