I currently have the Note 3, and my T-Mobile jump is up. I don't want to get the S5 instead, since I'm tired of Knox and worrying about rooting and warranty. Would the M8 be a step up or down from the Note? I love the big screen, long battery life, and speeds of the Note, but I could do without the big screen.
Would the M8 be an upgrade or downgrade from the Note 3?

Why even trade up then? You do know just because you can doesn't mean you have to, or should.
