Heathcliff74 I went ahead and deleted the music on my Titan and i have 3.3gb shown in Zune with 20% reserved space. I even tried the update before with a full restore with nothing on the Titan except what came with it. I have 43gb free space on my PC is there any other suggestions. Thank you.

I just noticed that the card reader I wanted to use has a virtual drive for drivers aswell - do you know if it work's with USB Pen Drives aswell? I have read about that but I have no idea how to prepare the flashdrive as goldcard drive =(

About the cable: I have even isolated the cables with heat-shrink tubing

I tried 7740 update(diff-7.10.7720.68-7.10.7740.16-armv7-retail-microsoft.pks_2cb1bfdd82133914239b8ee1a78e61e9000d 124a.cab), but it too failed.

Error:
Update device Complete with error code: 8018004D, error message: IU (Image Update) installation failed on phone: No applicable packages.

Then I looked at the top of the error log, to my surprise I see

KITLName: MSM7X3002279610
Manufacturer: HTC
ModelId: 4
Model: PI39100
MobileOperator: ATT-US
Version: 07.10.08107.03-00.00.00000.00-00.00.00000.00

Now from my last run to now, only thing I did was restoring to my one month old backup (made it via Zune following this thread) and installed all my apps again.

I am not sure how and when my phone got 8107, y'day after restoring it took a lot of time to sync with Zune (stuck in checking for update page). Can that be the reason?

I am still stuck with the same problem. I have done a factory restore on the phone uninstalled a bunch of stuff off the computer so I have close to 150gb free on the PC and all 12.48gb free on the phone. I have tried changing the sync reserved amount from 5% to 7% to 20% to 50% and I get the same error message each time. The worst part is I can't even restore now with the backup that I made it gives me another error.

My AT&T Samsung Focus v1.3 is currently running version 7.10.7720.68 of Mango, and I want to update to version 8107 because I text a lot and that disappearing keyboard drives me NUTS!!!

Am I correct that I first have to install the 7740 Mango update, as well as all the language packs for that update that are checked as being installed on my phone first?

Or, can I just go right ahead and install the Mango 8107 update & required language packs, WITHOUT worrying about 7740?

Thanks in advance, guys!

I also have an ATT Focus. I first installed the 7720 to 7740, then the 7740 to 8107, then the 5 8107 language paks. Took about 25 minutes and went smoothly.

Did you install any of the language packs with 7740, or did you just wait until you installed 8107 to install them?

Thanks,

Dennis
