Believe me, even if the strategy is perfect, there are other reasons to fail like filesystems and others.

Installation
- Use a Windows Mobile ROM that is known to work with Android (I am using Miri's WM6.5.x XtraLight for fast booting into Android)
- Use a Radio version that is known to work with Android (I am using Leo_RADIO_2.12.50.02_2)
- Download one of the Android builds above
- Extract it to the root of your SD card
- Start "\Storage Card\haret.exe" (in fact haret.exe is BatchLaunch)
Android autoboot
- Install Gen.Y DualBOOT for starting Android into your Windows Mobile
- Reboot your Windows Mobile
- If Gen.Y DualBOOT is not loaded on Windows Mobile boot create a shortcut of the Gen.Y tool and place it under "\Windows\Startup\", then reboot again

Believe me, even if the strategy is perfect, there are other reasons to fail like filesystems and others.
HAVING A BACKUP IS THE BEST STRATEGY!
- Method #1 (the simplest)
- Replace everything in your "\Storage Card\Android\" folder but keep "data.img" as this is where your settings and market apps reside in.
- Method #2
- Use third party apps like described in this thread.
