Hey grankin01 Before i was getting request for simunlock code. Its confirmed that my phone is sim unlocked. Att sim worked. I am still s =off and one more thing--- The bootloader is still the same .85
Congrats it worked.
Again, though, this wasn't going to change your hboot unless you didn't already have the 0.85.2007 version and you wanted to follow the optional steps to install it.
My MyGlacier 4G MINE!!!
Thank you so much for your and Scotty2 hard work. Now i don't have to pay for a unlock code.
I have a new 4g with 2.2. t-mobile is trying to push an OTA update I guess is 2.2.1 but I didn't do It yet.
Should I use this guide to root my phone like it is with froyo 2.2 or should I update first and then use this guide?
So what your saying is that we can download carrier based glacier roms? Like how the G2 can change into the desire z so to speak? Or am I still missing it?

Sorry for the bump, but can I get some feedback on this? I'm still not certain if it's "Better" to go with the engineering bootloader or the stock.
Needing a mirror to the engineering bootloader...since megaupload is down forever...
Hey Grankin, thanks again for all your hard work and quick replies...I have to unroot and send my phone back, but I'm unsure what to type in this area, please help...thanks
Now run the "dd if=/where/your/part7backup-numbers.bin of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p7" and it should show the output:
xxxx bytes in
xxxxbytes out
xxxxxxxxxx copied in blah blah blah
my part7backup is on my sd card named Originalpartbackup7, so would I type
"dd if=/sdcard/Originalpart7backup-numbers.bin of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p7 ?
Thanks again
Hallo please advice
I am going to purchase a locked t-mobile 4G
