The best method to root android 4.3
I just used Odin ,and many other methods in order to root ,but it failed all because of KNOX . I did a search ,and found this method , Just rooted successfully by using this method , just one click and there you go :

kingoapp.com

+ Trust me ,and do it .From now on , KNOX and SU can live together

Camera works fine and the spen has pretty much always been 100% compatible with any aosp. You just have to use 3rd party apps for some things.

My brother managed to get a Samsung Gear and it only works with Note 2 if is on 4.3. He has a Note 2 with Bell (unrooted) and stock 4.1x. Can I update the version to 4.3 Bell with Kies or needs Odin?

You can do the update ota.

Settings, about, then software update.

Works as long as you aren't rooted.

Hopefully you won't have any issues with the update.

Speaking of, anyone who did the update lose their lock screen shortcuts? My friend who also has the phone (from telus) has lost her shortcuts. And the options are greyed out in settings.
Thanks.

New update is great but noticed a few minor things.

- Flash seems to be completely broken with most browsers I tested.
- Internet browser seems to quit when a tab is closed with two tabs opened.
- Multiwindow still can't open two of the same apps (i.e. two stock browsers or two messaging apps).

Hope these are updated/fixed in the next update.

I checked sammobile website, it seems the 4,3 roms has just over 1gb, while the 4.1.2 version has about 900mb. I am curious as to what features did the carriers include/exclude in the 4.3 roms versus the 4.1.2.

i've been wondering what happens if you upgrade to 4.3 official rom using Odin and then change your mind and want to flash 4.1.x back using Odin as well, any clue?
