Google Now Gesture

I was searching the forums for this same answer, and haven't found one, but here's what I was able to do:
First off, I should add that I'm running Viper ONE - but I don't think that is a requirement, I only mention it in case you get different results.
Anyway, go into Google Play and uninstall Google Search. In my case, it immediately switched the gesture over to pulling up Dolphin, which I don't use lately, so I just uninstalled that too. Now I don't even have the gesture arrow.
I haven't tried re-installing Google Search, as I pretty much never use it, so I don't know if it will bring the gesture arrow back or not.
