OTA Update allows you to receive notification and easily download an updated version of a ROM. This is saved to a folder on your SD card called sdcard/OTA-Updater/download. Using OTA is the same as downloading from the home page but possibly more convenient. You then have to use recovery to Choose a zip to apply - for example from OTA-Updater/download.
I will add this to the OP #6 Updating. By the way I added some screen shots to #4 Install Native SD.
Cheers

Hi my dear friends,
now we are using Native SD, I wonder which is the best backup/restore program for a partioned SD Card?? Normally I use Sprite Backup, which works fantastic, untill I format my SD Card. After that. Sprite restores everything, besides the "hidden" partition for Native SD. If I do not format the SD card. it works very fine and also restores the Native SD section.
very best regards, Kuzibri
he he he...atlast pulled kuzibri onto the native sd roms especially xylos pacman
Kuzibri, first you need to backup the EXT4 partition onto the FAT32 partition of tje SD card and then backup the FAT32 partition. This is covered in section #5 Applications (Run Backup Restore Delete) but I am happy to rewrite to make it clear. There are several ways and the choice is yours. You can do the backup from Recovery or from Android.Hi my dear friends, now we are using Native SD, I wonder which is the best backup/restore program for a partioned SD Card?? Hi my friend,
of course this forum is also for beginners and for helping new users.Your "OMG" remark is IMHO premature and not justified, If you had mentioned in your first post what you did in this post, then we could have helped you directly by telling you that you need SPL 3.03 and Radio 2.15, which both come with HTC 3.14 ROM, as you already found out. It's always advisible when you report a problem also to mention your ROM version, (H)SPL version and radio version, then we can be of quick help.
BTW, not being able to paste/post external links has to do with your amount of posts at this moment. These are the official XDA rules. and has nothing to do with this forum
best regards, Kuzibri
im sorry
I appreciate your help, just keep in mind I was a little frustrated.
Unfortunately kuzibri. . Many have moved on from wm 6.5... They are all dual booting wp7.8 with Android native sd now

If you like Total Commander file manager on your Windows Mobile, you will be pleased to know that Total Commander 2.0 final for Android is now available (Nov 23, 2). The two windows on this app make it easy to unzip and copy files. Version 1 is available from the Play Store but Version 2 can be downloaded from http://www.ghisler.ch/board/viewforum.php?f=22 or directly from this link: http://ghisler.com/tcandroid2.apk. Don't forget to update your plugins to version 2 - for example use LAN (Windows network) Plugin on Android for browsing and copying/moving files to/from your Windows PC.
Great question. There are four HTC HD2 Android developers/porters who you should always check for their ROMs as they are consistently solid and provide great support. You can do this by clicking on their name and then view public profile and Statistics then Find all threads started by:
Great question. There are four HTC HD2 Android developers/porters who you should always check for their ROMs as they are consistently solid and provide great support. You can do this by clicking on their name and then view public profile and Statistics then Find all threads started by:Look for ROMs that have NativeSD in the name. For more the latest or more experimental ROMs, search these two forums using Advanced Search of Titles for keyword: NativeSD (see attached screenshots)You have a wide choice of ROMs covering
- Xylograph - developed NativeSD
- tytung - has over 10,000 thanks
- c1cl0n - Nightly ports
- Learning Never Ends team - the best HD2 team
I would point you to ROMs that have a large number of views e.g. 3,500,000 for NexusHD2-ICS-4.0-CM9
- Gingerbread (GB - CM7) e.g. tytung or c1cl0n
- Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS - CM9) e.g. tytung or c1cl0n
- JellyBean (JB - CM10) e.g. tytung
Of course you are not limited to ROMs that have been posted to a thread. c1cl0n has written [REF] Howto port NAND to NativeSD | Step-by-Step. Thanks to one of our friends I have been enjoying ACA NativeSD The great thing about NativeSD is that you can easily try out lots of them - you can see that I have over a dozen on my SD Card in order to satisfy my ORD.
