I just downloaded CM 10.1.2. I'm guessing that still contains the MasterKey patch? Also...what is the MasterKey patch?
Has anyone noticed the function key on the keyboard not working for web pages?
Like typing in a ! using the hardware keyboard in the search bar on www.google.com or in the Netflix app. Maybe I have setting wrong some place but I didn't see anything posted elsewhere so I figured I'd just ask if anyone else had the same issues.

^^^THIS^^^I remember having that problem once. I've found Chrome just runs so bad on the epic that I just ditched it and went back to browser.

That, and Chrome takes up quite a bit of space in /data

Thanks for the quick reply but still trying to save certain app data and dont know if it got backed up or not. Any other thoughts?
Give GoBackup a shot. Their newer version has some quirks I'm not a fan of so I still have the 1.12 APK from when it was 100% free and without limitations; only not as many functions.
The phone is rebooting constantly (makes it to the CM splash, then boots).
Good call-out, definitely overlooked that part of the post. My solution would only work if installing CM again allows access back into the GUI.He's in a boot loop, a different backup program isn't likely to help much...
Wife's Epic is running a 10.1 nightly (Early June). I was running Titanium Backup (free) in prep for loading 10.1.2 stable. TBU was acting strange (screen went black [not off] then to desktop while SU was popping granting rights) so I booted the phone after a time that I would think TBU finished in the background. Noticed TBU did not backup all apps so I started a redo. It was still strange, so I rebooted into recovery and was going to clear the cache, but never got that far. The phone is rebooting constantly (makes it to the CM splash, then boots).
Same with a battery pull. Same with holding vol down+camera+power.
Obviously, something is hosed in recovery, so unless someone has a great trick up their sleeve, I would like to reload just CWM and hope everything else comes back. Can I simply ODIN CWM without reloading the ROM so it will boot normally? If so, do I need the same CWM version that came with the nightly, or will any version work?
Again, wife's phone, so I need the apps backed up so I can do a proper restore in TBU once I get CM 10.1.2 loaded - or else. LOL
Thanks...
