The first time I flashed it, it looped once then booted to the OS then it hung. I forced a reboot to recovery and wiped cache and dalvik cache, then rebooted and it worked fine. But...

Tonight I've been having all manner of issues, won't boot properly half the time, when it does I lose all signal and it won't return no matter what I do, then it goes into a sleep of death. I thought it was bricked for a while but I managed to get it to boot into bootloader. Clean flashed again and it was the same story. Flashed another ROM that I know is rock solid and now the same problems are happening. I'm gonna have to run an RUU tomorrow.

Finally got it to boot. I had to run the 3.18 RUU again for some reason. I had used RegawMOD to customize my bootloader and apparently it didn't like that. It's booting to the OS for the first time now. This is the first time I've tried out a new ROM in a while, so here's to a good one!

(If this doesn't work I'm going to try CM 10.2)

P.S OP you need to update the Gapps links on first post, they both are dead.

Yeah I noticed that too after trying to flash a few 4.3 roms. It took ~5 reboots to get to setup when I had a customized 2.15 hboot. Don't know why.

Anyway bootloops are not related to ville bootloops are related to the cm kernel...on 3.4.60 there were no bootloops in fact if i revert the kernel to that i will have a no loops rom.zip but it will have lockscreen delay...

I'll take lockscreen delay over boot loops and the other wacky shiz I'm getting any day lol.

I won't revert it. Intervigilium said it will revert commits on the kernel tree cause of the bootloops i'll wait for it to do and for a new version of beanstalk and build for evita again!

What do you mean about request?

when i flashed this ROM everything went well, until i rebooted the phone. it was stuck at the lockscreen with the message "loading widget". After that, i rebooted to recovery, wiped cache and dalvik and then it was in the boot animation screen with the beanstock in a circle with 4 small circles below it and it was cycling through all apps for more than an hour. i am not sure i am describing it correctly.

My phone specs - I RUUed to the latest firmware, TWRP 2.6 and coming from Viper's Sense 5. Luckily i nandroided before trying this and went back. But initial impressions of the rom was it was snappy! good feature set.

I have been playing with this ROM for about half a day, and it is running pretty awesome!

Super zippy, very smooth, and super customizable <-Literally, almost TOO much :p

Unfortunately, I'm an idiot and tried to restore backed up SMS messages, now android.process.acore keeps crashing and the usual fix isn't working, so time to start from the beginning :p

Restoring messages shouldn't cause problems like that. I restore messages every time I flash a ROM.

I think I just need to stop using Backdrop to do so. It replaces com.android.providers.telephony to restore them and for some reason it hasn't worked for me on CM 10+.

BTW I've now been running this for a full day and apart from one silly bootloop it's been perfect. The bootloop happened when I tried using ChainFire's Live Logcat boot animation. Just cleared caches and uninstalled once it booted.

Camera?

Had a question about one of the screenshots, the one with the camera with the settings along the bottom. Is that the default camera or is that a separate app? My default camera doesn't look like that.

Flashed this last night. Settings and customization overload! But I love it, setting menus is well done as far as layout and where things were. As others have mentioned first boot gave me some issues. No boot loops but it froze as soon as the ROM loaded up. Rebooted into recovery and wiped cache(s) as advised. After that no problems whatsoever. Super smooth even underclocked. Should probably give it a few days for battery to settle but so far my battery drops like a rock

FYI... I havent had much time this week to keep up with my repo's and they need to be updated pretty badly. Im sure that some of them are out of date that they might cause conflicts if you guys try to build.. meaning you might get errors because i havent added the latest stuff yet. I will work on getting everything updated today after work and then bump the version for a new release. Ill update once everything is completed. This is what Scott said.

Anyway intervigilium reverted kernel to 3.4.11 so it should be stable with no bootloops and lockscreen delay fixed. Obviously i won't build this until new bs version drops out.

I posted in the torched kernel thread about GPU clock speeds sticking to the maximum clock speed while on beanstalk but apparently it might not be the kernel's fault.
So just wondering if there is any setting in beanstalk that might affect the GPU speeds or put load on it that causes it to stick to the maximum speed:confused:

I am proud to present to you BeanStalk Builds put together by myself. This is a build composed off of the CM10.2 builds and i have added alot of features on top of it. So you get speed, stability, and ultra customization ability. Many of the additional code additions came from slim ROM and also Derteufels build and have been modified to work with my current setup. A huge thanks to Derteufel and the Slim ROM guys for their work and dedication. Also a big thanks to everyone involved with CM as that is the building stone in this project. Thanks to skyliner33v for the bootanimation and upcoming wallpapers!

I plan on updating this and adding features on a pretty regular basis, so if you happen to like this, keep checking back.
