Is it normal after doing this that my phone wont update? Is it stuck on 2.1.update1 forever? My phone will get to the point where it restarts and starts installinthe updates but when it gets to 50% it says update failed rebooting. Is this normal?

You have to update using Samsung Kies on the computer. Why do you want to update to JH7 anyways??

No, completely different. Recovery has menus etc... Download has a big yellow symbol with an android on it...

You need download mode to revert to stock.
