Same dev also bashed the 7 in tab in the cm10 section. Which is his view, of course. Jst didnt xpect personal preferences to be ridiculed in xda. But hey, u guys don't need us who can't contribute technically. And we don't need d*cks telling us what gadget to buy or fw to use too. So let's just go on our separate ways. Simple as that.

Now my personal opinion:
7" is to small for being a tablet, i really don't get how someone can create something. It's a wannabe tablet or a to big phone.

It wasn't our decision, it was google who changed that. Go and complain at their forums.

Once again you are misunderstanding what was said. He said 7INCHES is to small for a tablet. He didn't ridicule anyone.

Yeah, I disagree with him, but if you want tablet UI, go back to stock, or figure it out on cm yourself!

My sd card unmounts automatically. Also the music tracks skip after every 3 seconds. What's going on? Do I need to reflash cm9?:confused::confused:

I've never experienced those issues, a reflash wouldn't hurt!

No real problems.. you love IR blaster functionality, but bt keyboard works, haven't tried mouse. There really is no issues I can think of. Battery life is a touch shorter, just enough to notice imho. I have a 3113 btw

What a surprise... he deleted my post but made no response... I think the message was received LOUD & CLEAR
Truth is, both sides need each other... and devs need to remember that every expert started as a noob

busybox: Value too large for defined data type error

I need busybox binary from CM9 (4.0.4). All busybox I have tried have problem at run-parts and/or find applet, "Value too large for defined data type" error. Currently working on modifying boot.img for insecure adbd, standard bootanimation support (without breaking the stock samsungani) and init.d scripts for stock 4.0.4 firmware. Try to adapting CF-Root to Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 :D

EDIT: Busybox Installer from JRummy install v1.20.2-cm9 bionic and work without problem!

hmm, if i wanted to go back to stock, i probably would have asked in a different section.

I'm glad to see people still have small penises here.

thanks for the answer anyways! I'm assuming noone is working on porting this to cm9/10?

Aside from the immaturity, I haven't heard of anyone working on it. If anyone would, its the dev. But the dev's tab doesn't have an ir blaster I've heard, anyway. I want it too, but I don't think its going to happen, not any time soon.

    CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 4.0 (ICS), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

    Code:
    #include
    /*
     * Your warranty is now void.
     *
     * I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
     * thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
     * do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
     * before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
     * you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
     *
     * Submitting bug reports on nightly builds is the leading
     * cause of male impotence.
     */

    CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

    All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

    Just need someone to build it from the repo. Lots of work that would be!

    So I got this kernel up to 1.38Ghz and down the 180mhz with a 384ghz gpu. Unfortunately I messed up big time and now have to start over... its coming guys, I promise. I'm limited with time/money/classes/MCAT/studying, but I promise you'll all have your fix soon :). Lot of other patches I want to add also like with my other kernels and tab2lite.
