any luck with governors? found this thread explaining all of them and will hopefully get a chance to test them this weekend, but any experience would be much appreciated.

Using smartassV2+sio @max 1.5 min 192, I got pretty heavy battery drain. My clock always @1.5ghz & deepsleep ONLY. V2 kernel are ok than this.

Or new 6.1e.3.7 rom are drain baterry fast?

There isnt any change in v2 and v3. Just root added.

Maybe that's how smartassv2 gov work by save battery when only in deepsleep? But not really a save baterry..

Btw, if using your default gov & schedule & clock, how long until your battery die?

I usually get 10 hrs. Browse, wifi always on, music for about 3 hrs, read.
I use noop+intellidemand.
Screen on 1.7 + 384
Screen off 384 384

I will start tweaking the Governors. Next release will have them tweaked.

btw , recently i just reflash my vanilla rom. flashing your v3 kernel. i think i tap tap tap enough @sony screen. the recovery still shy to get out

...any problem accessing it after flashing back/new rom ?

Ask problem ???

Installation:
Download the GI_Kernel-v2-Cwm_15122012.zip
Copy the Zip to the phone.
Reboot the phone to Cwm recovery mode and flash the GI_Kernel-v2-Cwm_15122012.zip
To Go back to Stock, download the Stock Kernel From All Kernels link and flash from cwm recovery.
->OK
To flash GI-kernel V3, use the Flashing boot.img tutorial in the general section. Replace all the instance of boot.img with the GI_kernel-vx-Cwm_xxxxxxxx.elf.

run Flashing Kernel v3 > repost OKAY > OK

why? Setting show kernel 3.0.8

It happens for me too, somtimes. Nothing to do with the kernel though. Both are totally unrelated.
But when you tap make sure that your eyes are fixed on the SONY LOGO.

Added Stock kernels to the OP.
It has got Root + Cwm + Init.d support but no OC.
It Is the same kernel as in the firmware with the extras.

Using stock+cwm+init.d kernel for few days now...

Here what i got.. 2G all time+ 3G+data sometimes+ wifi all the time+sms+call+fb+email+sync+ miui 2.12.8 rom = screen shot

This is impressive battery life ^_^

well if compare before using your stock kernel , just get around 14 hours max sometimes, normally around 12-10 hour with same usage.

There is only only the newest kernel that you flash with flashtool did you download the right one are you sure your bootloader is unlocked

What is ur phone model and firmware version?
Which kernel version have you used?
Does supersu app show in applications list?

I flash this mod kernel over stock kernel (but try also over CM9 kernel, CM10 kernel...)

No, superuser doesnt show in app list... But kernel is flashed, if not, it wasnt possible that i flash this kernel from CM10 recovery and phone boot ok

Give me 30mins time, I am going to flash 6.1.E.3.7 and test it again. I will post back the results.

Update:

Flashed 6.1.E.3.7.
Let the phone boot.
Set Debugging on
Started flashtool.
Put the phone into fastboot via adb.
Put the phone into fastboot via fastboot.
Now select the stock kernel with root and flash.
Reboot.
I get Supersu, su, init.d and recovery.
