You do realize there are a number of factors to sleep issues. I'm just reporting what works for me. And since when have any of the development team shot down with sarcasm or a "lol"? Unless its been asked a million times.

The lol was sarcasm on my end. Your post is what I was referring to. But see, that's the thing. Browse through the topic and you'll see people reporting constant sleep issues. I believe there's even a report up over on phusson's bug tracker that seems inactive.

So Cal
Ok booted no prob on cdma. Radio and data connected. Wifi couldn't get me an ip but found my router no problems. Nice work guys! Will give more in depth review after I kill this battery.

So far launcherpro and corporate calendar keep throwing errors.

i never said perfect sleep -.-"
when i said sleep works, it works. Though i haven't been using it for long enough to see if something might wake it as it does to stinebd.
I am aware of sleep issues people are having in 2.1 and well theres not much we can do as phh is really busy lately and me and stinebd maintain userland which has nothing to do with kernel.
As i have said in 2.1 i'm looking into kernel development but my knowledge and programming skills are limited.
If you would like to discuss this more PM me or you can contact me on #xdandroid on freenode.
I'd like this thread to stay on topic thanks

I'm referring to the XDAndroid team's attitude toward fixing bugs and making the kernel more stable. See, it's one thing when you have a weird bug which doesn't take long to reproduce, but some of these(or shall I say a handful) are easily reproducible after 5 minutes or so of using the said device the issue is happening on.

What are you ground for saying this? Maybe the bug is easy to reproduce, but just maybe there are bigger bugs that are more worth their time? What might look like a small bug might be something that take weeks of dev time. And if you wan't to speak to the devs why don't you just join #xdandroid on freenode.

And don't forget these people give their free time to work on this so YOU can get it. Remeber to say thanks, and donate if you like what they do for you. If you don't have they money at least say thanks, in the irc channel, in a thread or any where else you might reace them!

this build isn't ready for daily use. the build is just a test so dont pay too much attention to that for now.
We need to fix sdcard first which should fix alot of problems

Using CDMA Diamond
- Voice Search not working for me
- Google map not working
- Cannot enable wifi
- Youtube video got "Sorry, this video cannot be played. There was a problem while playing."

I can feel this build is actually more responsive than the previous build, thanks for all the hard work and i'm looking forward for the new release.

Regards

    XDANDROID 2.2.2 AOSP

Welcome to the official XDANDROID AOSP thread which is dedicated to getting Android running on our beloved HTC devices.
Phhusson: has dedicated most of his time helping users and updating kernel to run Eclair and his work for other msm7k devices. However phhusson is not alone as there are also other members working on this. You can find some of them on http://www.htc-linux.org. I've listed some of the developers i know of that currently are working on and they deserve credits and thanks. We also have to note that before this work done there was quite a substantial number of people starting working on linux for our devices. Without them we may not be where we are today. So respect and credits to everyone involved in working on linux kernel for msm devices.
I am not responsible for any damages or problems your device encounters. The build is relatively safe and shouldn't cause any problems.

    22.11.10 | 2.2.1 builds

    • Arrrghhh has built a up-to-date package for people who dont want to download everything. Grab it here: Arrrghhh 2.2.1 update package

Note: You'll need a new data.img as this package is signed. Otherwise you'll get a bootloop :p
Also you'll need to select English IME if you want to type in english.

    OTA update

    24.01.11

    • No OTA update for FRX05

    • The recommended method is the OTA update.zip. However, for users who don't have a completely original FRX02 to upgrade from, the system.ext2 file will be necessary.

OTA Update procedure (ONLY for users with the original, unmodified signed FRX02 system image)
    • Download update-FRX03.zip to SD card in the same directory as startup.txt and haret, etc
    • Rename update-FRX03.zip to update.zip
    • Boot haret, watch the updater go
    • After updater finishes, it may either reboot or "freeze" (reboot not implemented on device), reboot manually if it freezes
    • Boot haret again, and the new system will start up

Old builds can be located here
Here is a repositories for older releases of XDANDROID and Android1.6 donut files

zImage are updated quite often but just because its updated, it doesn't necessarily mean it will work 100%. If a new zImage breaks and doesn't boot; load a previous working zImage. thanks
