Ok just an update

I've managed to port the 5.2.20764 xip and sys from blackstone and Ive also tried getting the audio part of notes to work without succes it records but does not play it back

just wondering if gps is working on the included rom?

also when i flash the included rom and boot it for the first time i get an error saying:

connection setup
error in the database
- think this is to do with the connection setup wizard that loads the APN settings

Ok figured out that this is because the file "provisions.zip" has been deleted .. put it back and it works like a charm

yes, gps is enabled, and yes, provision is deleted for space saving.

Just wondering how i get rid of the comm folder out of the build?

I deleted the Comm - Nadavi HTC GPS TOOL folder and rebuilt .. but the folder and the "broken links" still appear

they are created by another xml i've done. Look in the gps tools folder.

thanks for the speedy response ... um i can't seem to find the the GPS tools folder ... sorry about this .. i am a n00b to cooking and still a bit blond - can you give me some more direction - i extracted your ROM by opening !BEGIN.cmd and pressing 1 - does that expose all the files?

I don't have the folder stucture on my hard disk, so you are on your own on this one.

Try to search for rgu files. Make sure you cxan see hidden and protected by the system files.

The folder you're lookng for has very few files in it. I'm pretty sure it has a file with GPS inside. Try searching inside text and rgu files.
