Re: MoKo-Slim-Fit-Transformer-10-1-Inch-Multi-Angle for TF201/TF700. I bought one as well but had to return it. The TF700 didn't fit! It was too big. I see now they have specific to the TF700 that is available for pre-order which I may try even though I really didn't like the quality -- cardboard covered with some sort of mediocre leather imitation.

Just ordered one of those Asus Vesasleeves. Doesn't look too appealing but it's the only one that lets you use it with or without the keyboard. I'm assuming it works with the 700 cause it fits the 201 and the 300 so it has to work for the 700. Ordered it from B&H but it only comes in brown (auh)

Im looking for a minimal folio type for the 700 without the dock. Like the one at noreve (sorry I cant post a link). Its the 4th one from the top when viewing all ASUS tablet cases on their site.

From the images it looks like that one wouldn't work with the 700. Anyone seen anything like this for our tab yet?

I got the TranSleeve Dual while I thought I was getting the regular TranSleeve. The Dual one is pretty much useless without a dock.

Sure, you can prop the thing up similar to the regular sleeve, but it feels bulky, and since the tablet is only held in place in the sleeve by silicone stripes (or whatever they are) at the sides, it tends to just slide out of the sleeve. The actual propping up also feels bulky since it's supposed to fit the dock as well and wrap around both when you close them together. Suffice to say, I'm returning it since it's useless to me without the dock.

Just curious around the Transleeve, since I have been trying to put it on my TF700 for a while now. The sleeve will not snap in to the slot as with TF200. If you pull on the sleeve, it will fall off very easily. Any tricks to make this work??

Answering my own question. If you want a tight fit (without being able to pull it off too easily) as with the old Transformer Prime you will need some minor modifications.

1. Sand off approximately 1 to 1 1/2 mm off the tip of the snap in hook (I use a rotary drill with a diamond disk)
2. take a round nose plier and expand the spring mechanism a little bit so it keeps the hooks in place.

Enjoy! the Sleeve is the best case out there since it is light weight and pretty elegant.

I might actually pass on using TranSleeve after all. After carrying my Infinity covered by it in the bag, without any heavy stuff on it, I always find the screen a bit dirty, with stripes on it made by the material used for the sleeve, and it won't go off without using the cloth which was attached to the Infinity.

I ordered a Kensington 10" tablet carry case with handle and side pocket. The fit and finish of the case looks really nice. For $18 its a nice case. The main compartment looks big enough to fit the keyboard aswell. The side pocket has a zipper. I can easily fit my Jambox, charger and ear buds all zipped up nice and safe. I will let you know when my keyboard arrives Wednesday if it all fits but I'm almost positive that they will all fit nicely. I'm hoping I can even fit the Versasleeve around the tab and keyboard. I'm trying to post pics with the Premium HD App but it says I need login when I'm already logged in.

looking for a good case

Im thinking of ordering one of these from amazon:

1) w ww.amazon.com/MiniSuit-Transformer-Pad-Infinity-Portfolio/dp/B008H7Y1N0/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1342936495&sr=8-2&keywords=cases+for+asus+tf700

2) w ww.amazon.com/Poetic-Slimbook-Transformer-Infinity-Manufacturer/dp/B008IEGT82/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1342936495&sr=8-3&keywords=cases+for+asus+tf700

3) w ww.amazon.com/Poetic-Transformer-Infinity-Keyboard-Portfolio/dp/B008LM04T6/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1342936495&sr=8-7&keywords=cases+for+asus+tf700

1 and 3 both work optionally with or without the dock which i do not plan on purchasing until i save up again (broke college student). plus i like the pockets that are on the inside of the cover.
2 is an option just because its about half the price of the others.

any thoughts? anyone have some other cases that u think i should look at based on the options i've thrown out there?

I have this case coming Tuesday for mine-

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0088IA9PC/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i00

My experience with MoKo products has been great, top quality, good price and their exclusive seller, BSCstore has awesome customer service

If you want to spend more, Noreve Saint-Tropez makes EXCELLENT cases-

http://www.noreve.com/langue/en/pro...Infinity_TF700T_Tradition_B_leather_case.html

I have one from Noreve on my Galaxy Note. Their stuff is all hand made in Saint Tropez, France, and it takes 14 days extra if you order custom leather's or treatments, so be aware of that.

PDAir also makes excellent stuff, though they only have cases for the TF101.

They don't seem as cheap to me as you make them out to be, in fact they seem pretty durable, I have paid a lot more and had a lot worse. Judging by the looks and materials, I have a feeling Poetic, MoKo, Bear Motion and others come out of the same factories in Asia, and then get their respective labels put on, there is just too much similarity not to.

Looks nice, but isn't the zipper a danger for the screen and the back of the tablet? Seems like an easy way to get scratches, although on the picture it looks pretty safe. I got a similar case, only no zipper.

The zipper pull is metal but the teeth are plastic. The seem kinda slightly pushes the teeth out so the teeth don't touch the tab. I think it's fine. The case is so soft and compliant that if it did touch it would be with very little pressure. When put it all in the last thing I thought about was ruining the screen. It's good.

ASUS Transformer Infinity TF700 TF700T Rotating Cover Leather Case Skin Review

    It's here!!!

    n7ENb.jpg

Overall I am very happy with it. It's a decent shell that cradles the unit with a "leather" that wraps around that. I don't know how
genuine any of these materials are but they seem fine.

The ring in the middle seems to be where all the magic happens. It spins very easily.
In response to rndmnss's concern over the ring scratching the back of the infinity I spun my
infinity around in this thing like a propeller for a bit and after taking it out I couldn't see any
scratches, BUT the way the back of the infinity is polished (those circular patterns) I'm not sure
I would've been able to tell if it was scratching it. I to a picture with a playing card against the ring
to show just how close it really is. If I was really concerned about it scratching I would file just a
little off of the ring. There is enough there it shouldn't mess with functionality to lose a little.
The only problem i had was when using the case as a stand once it sat a little crooked after
looking around i seen that the back hadn't rotated completely. It was an easy adjustment and
    hasn't happened since.

    ySt4E.jpg

I wasn't sure about the edges at first. They look like they were melted to the right size but they
seem to grab the four corners just fine.

    LTP1l.jpg

The cutouts are good everywhere for me. Volume and Power buttons seemed weird at first but
thats just because i was so use to them with no case. Camera also seems pretty protected.

There are only two positional grooves in the microfiber instead of three on most. Another one or two
would have been nice for versatility but these work just fine in both portrait and landscape orientations.

The thickness of it also works well. Feels slim yet thick enough that there is plenty to hold on to.

    xWClI.jpg

The case fits tight enough that there is NO room inside i would feel comfortable squeezing a stylus into
it but there is plenty of room to slide the clip on the stylus in the edge. I bend the clip so it would fit
more to my liking (not to hard or soft).

    kqzKY.jpg

Spinning it 180 degrees and closing works great for charging. Without a dock to test with I'm not sure
if there is enough room to plug it into one when in this position.

    X0FXK.jpg

Overall I really love it (especially for $15). Once I get a keyboard dock I will need to look at some other
options but this would still be great for when not using the dock and it comes in and out of the case easy
enough you could swap between this another case without any trouble.

This is the listing I used

Bought it on 10/04 and it arrived on 10/12

    Hope this helps.

I like that the part is well covered, for me its the same typing with or without the case.

You might have to do some modifying or something with this one. Looking at the reviews, it is too small for the Infinity. It was originally a Prime case and they, like many other accessory sellers, just tagged the Infinity name to it.

People should be buying cases that are made exactly for the Infinity TF700 as Alithea is saying. We have been waiting patiently at caseen for our cases for the TF700 to arrive [ *shameless* Arriving this week, now taking pre-orders btw :) ]

We made a video explaining the differences of the TF300, TF700, TF201 in clear detail [and why you can't use TF201/TF300 cases on TF700 unless modifications are made in design]. Posted below:

Hope this helps anyone with their search! Our new case has a unique elegant strap that covers the charger port when not in use. Take a look here: http://www.caseen.com/Transformer-Pad-Infinity-TF700_c_49.html

I'm using the TranSleeve designed for the Prime (TF201), it fits well and is actually pretty cool. You have a few "standing" options (movies / typing) etc.
There is TranSleeve Dual coming, which is supposed to cover the Infinity with or without the dock, but it's hard to tell when it's going to be available in Europe.

Suffice to say, I'm returning it since it's useless to me without the dock.

Can it easily be used without the dock? I have a feeling I won't always want to carry it around...

Yes without the dock its a normal Tablet, i like the dock when i type a lot, or for the extra power.
Further you need the dock when you would like to sync to youre home pc.
I sync a lot between my MS Outlook and contacts. /i don't know if you can sync wireless...
