Hey Guys...

A few month passed since my last release.

But now it's time to show you, that i'm still working on it!

I ported MIUIv4.1 to our milestone.

It's still pre alpha but it's stable enough to boot ^^

Bases:
CM10: CM10 2012-10-29 with 2ndboot
MIUI: NEXUS S 2012-10-26

there are still a lot of things that doesn't work but i'm working on it.

Thanks. I have been looking for MIUI V4 ROM.
Could you please list out, what all working and what all not.

My main concern is performace.

I've flashed it just before.

Unlock screen was super laggy, no virtual keyboard appeared on PIN entry (hat to use the physical) and now it's stuck after language selection with a non-responding settings-app.
When the prompt to wait or kill settings app comes up and I select kill the Gmail app dies to and I'm thrown back to language selection.


Don't get me wrong - I know that this is still an extremely early stage of the ROM and I appreciate your will to port MIUIv4 to this ancient device.

So kudos for making it this far :good:

after language select i must wait about 10 sec. to get to the next screen
but i used my 98swapon script from the first start

i post my quicktest report on a-h.de in german, cause my english is not the best ;)

the rom is very laggy at the moment and many apps fc instadly but for the first try its realy good, but laggy ;)

It reminds me of the first cm10 builds. They were as laggy as this rom but with time/work/care cm10 builds are usable as a daily driver.

It would be awesome if this will be as usable as cm10 in some months. :fingers-crossed:

Well, yes it is pretty sad, but I understand that. It must be difficult to develop an outdated phone, while so many better devices are being released every day. Anyways, thanks ManCloud for your support.
