HTC flashlight apk

This is the Flashlight apk from the 2.2 Froyo Desire rom. No root is needed and appears to work on most HTC devices using the camera led's.
It's pretty sweet and looks awesome.

Now to answer some questions:

Why do I need this?
You don't.

Will this break my phone?
Don't know. Depends what you use it for.

Will this void my warranty?
Its a non root stock HTC apk

Will it help me find my long lost brother?
Who knows

Can I get this from the market?
Nope

How do I install this?
Log off, turn your computer off and please walk away. Seriously

It uses camera led, but is for HTC Desire only

It uses the led on the Evo 4G too!!!!

It has a nice gui, but on the Acer Liquid nothing happens (ie, no led flash exists)

FYI. Does not work with DeFrost 2.0c. Didn't expect it thou. Just fun to test.

Suspect the HTC Flashlight might need the HTC Framework/Sense to work?

Just a little feedback here: Not sure if this is how it should work, but it does work on my HTC Desire (eclair). It shows a cool image of an HTC flashlight on the screen, but uses the camera LED for the actual light beam. Four settings; off, very low, medium, and very bright.

Using htc desire with Gefrost r6 (based on Defrost 1.8c) doesnt install for me, downloaded in browser which usually works for me :/

Works great on Droid Incredible running Cyanogenmod6 RC3.

It is using the camera LED, not the screen.

Just like the stock Sense 2.2 ROM for Incredible..
