Haptic feedback is working for everything except for Menu and Back buttons...

Am I missing some setting?

How is the best way to enable data2sd? (if it's possible atm :))
Or, at least, app2sd? :confused:

Isn't i5800 a better phone than i5500 and i5700(i mean, it has higher specs)? and yet both of these phones have long had cm7 ported to them(inferring from the CMstats page).....but at last it looks like we'll be getting it on our devices as well :)

looking forward to custom roms from the developers :)

Try app2sd-v2, but i dont know if it will work.

EDIT: I just found why the market apps download/install isnt working...
The /cache partition isn't mounted!

I am on CM7 from Indroid 4.3, and so far besides missing functionality (video...etc),
it is fast and very responsive.
I do have fast connection through WIFI also able to login to Market .

Q. How to I remove (delete) extra home screen?

My cache partition is mounted:

no offence kyrillos but should not Marcellusbe or Apollo host the thread?
As he could answer better and give out more info about whats going on in their rom.

@Arun, from which rom are you coming? I found that if you are coming from a rom with cache converted to ext2/etx4, your cache partition wont be mouted...

@Rudolf, LOL, they can post their answers to this thread as well... and as arunmcops said, they are busy!

I flashed Alpha2 thrice to confirm it. I was on rfs partitions earlier. U can see my post on earlier page , cache is mounted. Market downloads worked till yesterday. I flashed again today. poof..... Its gone....

yeah "lol" i did not know, but the op can handle and edit the first post as well, thought you knew that :D
They could edit on what is fixed and what is not..There are enough devs in their dev team, some one would have some time to be a real op..Arun for example has answered many question here, so could he in and real official thread posted by him if any.

Edit: I just said it..Nothing like you have to take some action and close the thread. Just gave my opinion, no harm.

I forgot something pretty important... recovery is not working.

So, I can not do a factory reset, and app2sd script will never be executed (At least, I guess it happens that way).

    It won't detect wifi if Name (SSID) is hidden. It works fine if Name (SSID) is visible. So, go in your router settings (192.168.0.1 for me) and Unhide Name (SSID).

    I just managed to solve the market fc/auto update problem on cyanogenMod 7.1 and install old market!
    Steps:
    1) From root explorer go to system/app. Mount rw. Delete marketupdater.apk.
    2) Download and install indroid ota app from here.
    3) Download transparent old market from the indroid ota app.
    4) go to recovery and flash the update.zip you just downloaded.if the flashing fails just extract the zip and copy and replace the vending.apk in the zip with vending.apk in system/app using root explorer.
    5) after the reboot again go to system/app from root explorer-> mount rw -> long press on vending.apk -> permissions -> tick everywhere.
    6) reboot.
    7) enjoy.

    gracias.

    the camera preview is b/w, probably caused by a wrong pixel/color format. I don't know and I must do some debugging.

    I can't guarantee that it will be solved in alpha7 ...
