Just stumbled onto this .... I have an ME301 and the bootloader is "US-epad-10.6.1.31-20130823".

Is this the most current version for this model? And where would I find the current version and instructions for the install?

Or does the ME301 have a different set of numbers?

you need to make sure your on the right bootloader first mate then get the twrp from the first post and flash using fastboot then do a full wipe in twrp then flash the rom mate i can helpout more if needed mate just let me know

If I'm not mistaking, than your bootloader should end with 27. 5 not 225 (but @lj50036 please for verification, that I'm not wrong). That means to upgrade your slate to the newest official ROM version... Than you have to unlock your bootloader with official unlock tool from ASUS. Than you can push recovery via ADB and than via recovery make a complete wipe and install ROM. (basically if you read carefully first 4 posts of this thread, you should get things up and running in no time). It's rough description..... Detailed quide is at the start of this post.

Can't restore my backup

Hi I might ask some stupipd questions but I am really new to this stuff.
I made a backuo with TWRP and flashed my tf300tg with this rom. I tried all the possible autoinstall options but it does not start on my tablet. Now I try to restore my original rom with 4.2.1 android but now it returns always to TWRP screen and Android does not start anymore.

What do I wrong?

Nope. Only stock roms work currently.
