Can this process be reversed? Can we recompile these files back into a KDZ?

It was no inconvenience at all. For me, this is a learning experience and you are a great teacher.

I have wondered about this. I am sure there must be a way to re-assemble the files. 7-Zip was used to extract the files. Perhaps it can be used to put them together. I do not know anything about the .kdz format.

Ok, well I am extract MS769 firmware (The LG Optimus L9 for MetroPCS).

Well, is there any possible way to merge all the bin files into one bin???

Or is there a way to extract the bin files?

I can half way extract it with xonar_'s Binextractor tool, but it's not everything :/

the PROCKDZ.bat contains a command to combine all of the .bins at the end, sorry Camhendra I missed this one as well, dope
thanks for everything,
if anyone want to extract the bin (the large one) in to partitions use xonar_'s LG Bin Firmware Extractor.

What command merges them all?

copy /B "%device%_AP[?].bin" + "%device%_AP[??].bin" "%device%_AP.bin"
just go to the first post and follow the directions, when everything is done, the BIN folder will contain all of the split .bin's and the one combined .bin, along with the other files

I know this kind of old to reply to, but what did you mean about adding the bin files up. This batch script combines all bin files into to one, if that's what you meant.

Well you can add those files up in different orders, like ascending or descending, which leads to different products. I thought I might have done something wrong, but I played around a little bit with the help of xonar_, but I wasnt successful at all...
