these are NOT FOR 4.2

Mods to Change The Home Screen - Menu App Selection
The weather widget works with these :: Note: if you have the weather widget on a 4 x mode and you flash a 5 x mod without removing the widget, you will not be using the correct widget. Same if you go from a 5 x to a 4 x mod. Make it a habit to delete your widgets and add them back after changing sizes.
All Icons are the same size as stock (there was no reason to shrink them down)

If Using a launcher modded from the Note 3, Do not use first section, go to second: How to Know? Go to System, Application Manager, look at TouchWizHome,
if version is 4.3-N9005XXUBMH1 : use N section
if version is 4.3-N900WBVLUBMJ1 : use NB section
if version is 4.3-*MK* : use MK section

AccuWeather Transparent Mod
Use this Transparent mod, especially with the 5x Mods to eliminate 1 pixel line near top of sun and clouds.

Launcher Modding instructions - tutorial

First you need to know how to Decompile/Recompile APK's, I use xdaAutoTool_V4.0.3.
This does not cover how to do that.

After the SecLauncher3.apk is decompiled
you need to focus on the res/values-sw359dp-xxhdpi directory

The files you need to modify are:
Integers.Xml - Pick how many columns and rows ie: 4x4, 4x5 etc...
Dimens.Xml - Many sizing options for each cell and page
Styles.Xml - Text size and locations

Now..In Dimens.Xml you need to be aware that combinations will affect how the icons layout on the screen, just because you ask for 5x6 doesn't mean you will see them all on the screen, unless you set the Dimens files properly.
Caution: these also will affect how the Widgets display, your choices may cut off edges of widgets, or even cause them to display totally transparent.
you should leave the weather widget on the screen to see just how bad your changes did. (Note: if you switch between 4x and 5x displays, you must delete the weather widget and put back the correct one.

Here is an excel spreadsheet broken down by the settings I changed by Integer choice.
The last column is for changing to have the page indicator at the bottom of the screen, the default is above the hotseat bar

After you recompile all the changes exist in the resources.arsc
you can basically use any of my launcher mods and replace the file and you will be ready to test it on your phone.

thanks for this, I noticed the touch accuracy on some of my home icons seemed to be off slightly, like I would touch close to the top of one app but it would start the app above it. this was on the 5x5 and 5x6 on stockup mj6 v1.1

Yes, It is a little bit of a trade-off with the 5x6 for making other things work properly.
If you make it a habit to touch closer to the name you will always get the correct app.

One of the benefits of the way I modded was to keep the Icons the same size as stock, also it allowed me to have the weather widget display very close to how it displays on the 4x screens.
My mods also insure that the hotseat icons and names are the same size and position.

I may play around with other ways of modding it in the future.

The fastest way is to reflash your rom without clearing anything.

You are using a MJ* 4.3 rom?
these are only for those.

If you have 4.2.* you can flash any of the other Launcher mods floating around.

That was my mistake i didn´t read that part hahaha , i have 4.2.2 sorry, now i'll use aviate launcher because i don´t wanna flash the rom again.

100% on 5x5
90% on 5x6

Recommed redownloading all files
Including the AccuWeather if you have downloaded.

No additional Changes anticipated, these should be final.
