Follow the install instructions. You MUST reboot again after first boot
[/qoute]
It went away after the third reboot. But for some reason for the life of me I cannot figure out why the themes will not change the status bar colors. I think that this has to do with the pre-installed app miui settings. In that it must deal with status bar colors different that program will change the colors but themes will not. oh well odd.

#EDIT
the restore zip from #2725 seemed to fix the issue.
Wow, thanks for this! I did not have time to crawl the thread and just ported the original creators 2.3.2 for the newer MiUI. Obviously I did something wrong. I will have to check that out! Thanks again
BTW Cosmic, i think you should sticky FasterFix in the front page, so others can set location too... mine was set at Asia by default, after fasterfix, it was fixed. (no more GPS Status needed yay)
bluetooth hands free is better than ever, no drops, connection is very fast
No lags what so ever!
It's not set to Asia, FasterFix just says that because it only recognizes NTP servers - which is the old A-GPS stuff - and doesn't have XTRA detection support. XTRA is a technology designed to replace A-GPS, it is faster and more battery friendly. The X10 supports it but your cell provider also has to support it. On a fresh boot I get a fix to within 4 meter accuracy within 5 seconds so Vodafone Australia obviously supports XTRA... but if I use manual Australia NTP server it takes 10 seconds to get a 10 meter (or more) fix. In summary - XTRA is superior to classic A-GPS but some providers still don't support it. FYI, I have no need whatsoever for FasterFix or GPS Status now with XTRA server instead of NTP
it's always fast here. But thanks for the report
Got 1 hang and restart, this was while gps was connecting and i searched for something , it found it but then restarted
Was that before or after you used FasterFix? Happened only once?
the internet seems to be slow, did we put in the 3g fix that was made earlier by MM team? i checked multiple times but the net work sticked with H instead of 3g, and usually it was 3g. Maybe someone else can tell us their experience with this.
Hmm. H (for HSDPA/HSUPA) means data only, but 3G means it also has cellular connectivity.... I did put some new values in the build.prop to specify the profiles for GPRS, 3G and H but they may be wrong... but I'm sure I triple checked them. Are your APN settings correct? If you can edit the build.prop values and know how, here are the new changes in there to search for...
...OK, I just checked the new build.prop and all my extras are actually gone! Looks like one of the other team members didn't get that memo
If you want to try the build.prop mod, they are in a thread
here on XDA with info/guide. Please try it and let me know!
I just looked at something, also noticed that my 3G coverage is worse than v6
we really needed those values!
It also seems to be consuming more battery than v6, but that might just be me, once again more sample group needed.
If you are on 3G radio, as I said above I think this may be adding to battery drain. By default it will try and use Class 12 but the X10 is only Class 10! It will be actually slower because of errors, and also drain battery more...
