The title says it all. All of us have experienced many different UI's, such as Sense, Touchwiz, Timescape, Nxt, Miui, Aosp, all of which have gotten old. Now, I bring you the different, the one with great looks, Flyme OS. There will be a version for both Arc and Pro. Ofcourse this is a port of Flyme OS on the Meizu MX, a heavily modded / themed version of Android 4.0.4, there are bound to be many bugs, here are a few that i noticed. Now for the Play, this is a first release, so please report bugs.

  • Wifi
  • Bluetooth
  • Root
  • Display brightness
  • Sdcard

  • Lockscreen
  • Syncing

Not Working:
  • Network tab in settings
  • Auto LED off

Buggy:
  • You tell me


Tips:
  • Disable keylight
    Navigate to Settings > Display and bring the light dots on the bottom to 0 (all grey)
  • Recent apps
    Like normal ICS, you can't access recent apps menu from holding home key, but menu key instead
  • Screenshot
    Hold power + home button

Looks good, it looks like MIUI around the edges, sooooo this is for CDMA? as GSM says it doesn't work?

If you make a GSM working version i'll gladly test it! Great work!

Love to see more developing for Play ;)

I tried a few days ago to port this rom (gsm version) and I succeeded, but I haven't realized yet, but already there is no sense, but in my port gsm/call/data and sms works.

By the way, great work.

This is the gsm version, as it says in the thread title. I don't own the play which is why I can't say if gsm. Works because I couldn't find a willing tester.

That looks sweet, I especially like how there's music controls everywhere (or at least in a lot of the different windows).

downloading right now, will report if gsm and data work later.

1 EDIT: it looks like it uses fxp kernel (at least same kernel image) :p

2 EDIT: it does not like my phone... it won't boot. :/

3 EDIT: computer does not see the phone, so no logcat.

Doesn't boot? Is it stuck at the kernel screen or boot animation ?

I left it for like five minutes and it didnt get past boot animation. Very nice boot animation btw.
I flashed it over stock gb .62 fw after performing factory reset.

    Got some time to work on it today, found some newer bugs with more logcatting, here's the changelog for Build 1. I have moved on to the Note ll, I still have my Pro, so development wont stop just yet. And yes 2.0 = WIP
