We don't fight! We just say our oppinions and everyone has a different one! Everyone can say his oppinion freely! You said you tried Aokp of Rahat34! That rom was a port and not build from source so it was not properly optimised for x8 sa that can be the reason that there was so much battery drain!

glad to know you're all on peaceful terms. so rahat34's was a port. ah well umm how do you compile aokp from the kxp sources. a little help (the exact instructions, actually) would be greatly appreciated or is it the same as compiling cm9. and how big exactly are the sources (yeah i have a terrible net speed)? thanks in advance.

Stelios : I am waiting for your great aokp rom for x8 .
And I agree with you that aopk is better than cm9 for our low-end device .

I also love nAa cm7 rom.
And don't change his rom with any other cm7 rom anymore.

Thank you both dev that keep our old device funny .

Those icons in the notification bar have always bugged me since gingerbread (mainly with themes)

    Aokp-Tips-Themes-etc

    On this post you will find compatible themes with our device and themes that i will resize to fit our phone! Also you will find tips for performance, battery life and etc! Soon there will be banner for your signature like the minicm9 ones!

    Performance Tips:
    These settings can be found at Rom Control!
    • Overclock->Ondemand-Min(480)-Max(768)
    • Available memory->80mb
    • Scrolling cache->Default enable

    Battery Life Tips:
    1. Charge your phone full using wall charger not usb!
    2. Leave it fully discharge
    3. Charge your phone full again
    4. Go to CWM and wipe battery stats
    5. Repeat this procedure 2-3 times
    • Enable Power Saver at Rom Control
    • Use powersave or smartass cpu governor
    • Reduce the screen brightness
    • Configura Data, Wifi, Screen settings at Rom Control
    • Disable data, wifi, bluetooth when you don't use it
