if that was directed at me, it didn't help
!!!!!!! how do you turn off widgets that you turned on, and also how do you tunr off the phone or reset it? im lost
did you cook in the EXT (the "unfixed" v1.03)?
if so, u should have one registry key that is missing:
Go to the registry and add the following key:
Code:[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Gen.Y\DualBOOT] "AndroidBootFolder"=dword:00000000
ps, i didn't know the the Omnia had android, i'll try to build a native WQVGA solution soon

It was directed at this statement. You have to read a lot more, and you surely will find it.
1. Turn off widgets: If I got this right, you can use "TASK Killer". Just slide town the top bar and there you (should) go.
2. Turn off/reset phone: It is not (yet) possible to turn off the phone. You can just set it to sleep. For resetting you have to press the reset button under the battery cover.
3. Load screen: I doesn't know if I habe understood that, but I think you have everything properly installed. The App just pops up after the HTC Welcome Scree ("HTC quietly brilliant" in my Touch HD)
I hope i could help you a bit more with this non-sarcastic answer

1. I think that he is asking how to remove widgets from desktop, right? If yes, just tap on widget and hold for a few seconds and then move it down to delete it from desktop.
2. To turn off your phone hold for a few seconds the call end button and then choose power off. There is posibility to get silent mode, airplain mode and power off by holding the end button for a few seconds.
And i've found another future in the contacts press and hold menu (home) button for a few seconds and then keyboard pops up. This way you can search for a contact in diferent and faster (for me) way.
I find that if you are in WM and you soft-reset (with a pen) , this program will not be loaded or run which is sad...
1., 2. no problem1. im gonna have to try that, it worked great, thanks
2. that worked as well. wow this is fun today after i got some sleep
now all i need to know is, does the xdandroid rom come with any software? or is it a barebones setup that ive got to go out and fill up

That doesn't work yet under Android.
Or what Version/Kernel etc. are you using?
Hi,Installed in storage card. While booting up it does show, although I also see a flash of some other things. I click boot android and an error message shows this:
"An error occured on sub __main_bootandroid.
Win32Exeception
Continue?"
Whichever I click, it does nothing.
Thanks if you can help me..
is this what your lookin for? http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=6017511. i couldnt get it to work, i really need to mess around with it some more. i was very tired last night trying to get anything to run.
2. i was pulling the battery, its effective but not right
3. the loading screen seems to be the only thing working correctly.
hahaha sarcasm is soo hard to read online, when you posted the wiki i read through all of it (i thought) and couldnt find the answere. then i searched xda for "xdandroid" for fuze/raph and couldnt find anything cause i would have rather used that rom thread for these questions, instead of filing this dual boot thread.
anyways thanks for the help

When you are running from the Andboot folder on the Storage card, do the following at the Registry location shown on the first page of this thread:Can someone explain how to fix the "Android is missing" error in simple terms? I am having this problem on my TP and Diamond, too.
I had this problem too.Dear Lord, why doesn't anything works as it should, like it used to be???
I'm also having this problem, and here's what I found:
1- (of course) I have a working haret.exe on the root of Internal Storage
2- Installed Gen.Y VGA to the internal memory (NOT the Internal Storage): check registry, entries are there;
3- run Gen.Y, click Android, it boots Android
4- After reboot, the dreaded "An error occurred retrieving the registry key" error appears: click cancel, go to the registry, entries are not there!! wth?!!?
5- manually create entries, reboot, still the same friggin' error: go to the registry, entries are still NOT there!! wtf?!!?
So there is the friggin' problem: why are the registry entries dissapearing? And YES, i've red almost all of this giant thread. geez..
