Here is what I did that solved the problem for me...I changed the sample rate from medium to fast then back to medium again. I have tested on my Note 3 by covering the light sensor and the screen brightness changes as expected. I am not sure why this worked but perhaps worth a try?

I am using the latest version from the Play store dated Oct 14th.

I hope he has time. I just discovered that on my Note 2, if I attempt to add a new card to Google Wallet, Wallet complains that some application access is blocking access to it (probably the camera) and you are unable to add new cards until you disable Lux. I wonder if there way to work around this without disabling Lux.

[BUG] Lux stuck at 20,000 on TabPro 8.4 and 10,000 on Nexus 4
My Lux reading sometimes get stuck at 20,000 on TabPro 8.4 and 10,000 on Nexus 4 and the only way to fix it is to shine a flashlight into the light sensor and for awhile after doing that it will still give very odd readings.

Any idea how to stop this from occurring?
