No it won't. I thought tjohn was still using 2.6.39. Either way the new kernel has a camera fix, but but it don't work on all gtabs yet, mine and one of fosser's at least. they had not released anything publicly yet either so unless whyberg finished it for 9701 some will have no camera either.

Ok looks like someone will have to bite the bullet here, so I am going to put my Gtab on the block and see if this thing can function on it. As there is a lot of contradictory language on this page, it may or may not work, but if it does I'll let you know! Wish me luck... :cowboy:

Try to change your meta data unzip and replace metadata from gtab you re install to yaffs we install to mcc

I replaced the 'metadata' file with one from the '[ROM-AOSP][BL-1.2]G-Harmony Jellybean 4.1.2 ODEXed (UPDATED 12/28)' rom after reformatting with the 350mb team DRH NVFlash prep.

This time it applied without error, but the apply finished in about 15-20 seconds and I doubt much if anything actually applied.

Stuck at birds, so safe bet we need to do more than just replace the metadata file...Thanks for trying though.

You mention changing the install to yaffs....where would I do that?

I confirmed the metadata is right. I used the newest rom posted here, but I COULD try the 4.2 boot image, but at that point, build.prop will be all wrong too so how much must be done just to get it to install and boot? Someone more skilled might need to do this right..

I'll try the 4.2 boot image from "[ROM] AOKP-4.2.1r1 & CM10.1 (WIP) 1/2/2013 TESTERS/CRACKFLASHERS ONLY" though and let you know.

you must flash the nvflash then flashing the rom and gapps?or you can just "jump"(i'm flashed the teamdrh cm10 recovery(just recovery because i have the android 4.0 ics from the evolio neura(androider.ro) nvflash and then just flashed via recovery(cwm 6) the rom and gapps)
is possible to overclock to the default speed(1000 mhz)?

You have different partion storage whyberg try for your partion to configure cpu cache
And make a new cwm seperetly from ours

Paste your cwm to this nvflash and flash
To our devices the pc connection and usb work fine try this rom have different compile from teamdrh but is based to this

in this post you say this rom is only for 1gb(with 3g) version.i don't want brick my tablet so...
and this is for 16gb storage(you know in the russian discution about jelly bean on malata(3q surf as rebranded in Russia) they talked about a 8gb version and our rebranding of malata t8 is evolio neura and these tablets have just 16gb version)
